Services
J.R. Yago and Associates have been providing energy audits and field investigations on thousands of facilities since 1990, long before today's "green" movement even started. Our over 20 years of experience has given us the opportunity to evaluate which energy saving programs and products are the most cost effective.
Today's commercial and institutional facilities can be very complex and include central chiller plants, central boiler plants, central air handling units, rooftop packaged equipment, pumps, fire & smoke alarm systems, geothermal heat pumps, heat recovery systems, variable speed motor drives, and lighting controls.
Lighting in most commercial and institutional facilities are no longer controlled by manual wall switches. Lighting can represent a major utility cost for these facilities and there are many technologies now available to significantly reduce these lighting system costs.

Although we normally provide this type of facility condition assessment for military facilities, it is an excellent program for anyone managing multiple buildings and campus type operations. A site visit is completed for each building with specialists in each field of HVAC, lighting, electrical, and plumbing systems analysis.
Energy Conservation Measures are usually part of any facility energy audit and are a listing of all recommended equipment and system renovations. A brief description of the recommendation is provided, along with a budget cost estimate for the work and an estimate of the utility savings that would result if the renovation or equipment replacement was completed.
