Very quick process but instructions would've helped with it being my first time going. Everything must be separated, (plastic glass aluminum) Plastic and aluminum accepted on left side of the building, glass accepted on the right side of the building. All glass must be separated by color; Clear/Green/Brown... They're prices seemed reasonable. Using their onsite trash cans to separate my recyclables, I ended up with 2 trash cans full of glass, 3 trash cans of plastic and 3/4 trash can of aluminum and I received $30.53. I would go back here and I will definitely keep recycling.

Once turned in a large construction size bag full of crushed plastic bottles. When they wrote up my ticket it showed a little over two lbs weighed-in. I told the guy 'no way' that bag should have weighed twelve lbs not 2. They wouldn't budge and I walked away steaming mad.
I am headed back there today with another big black bag of bottles and cans. We'll see how it goes. Will keep you posted.

I took my gas mower here to be recycled when I purchased an electric one as part of a rebate. The process was easy and the staff was helpful. I had some difficulty communicating with the cashier through the plexiglass window as the speaker wasn't very loud and masks caused a muffled response. All in all my experience was fine.

I mean it's a recycling center so I don't expect much. I believe this place pays a bit more than the other locations but don't quote me on that. As for wait time it always just depends. Sometimes I get there at the earliest and it's a long wait and sometimes I go in the afternoon and it's quick, or vice versa. When I went this past Saturday there were 2 lines and it was moving quite quickly until this family suddenly had about 30 bags waiting in their truck (not joking). I decided to just move to the other line that was moving along. It was quite unpleasant waiting with

Customer service is very minimal. There's was no greetings or communication at all. Waited over an hour to be help. It was such a hot day as well and I got sunburn waiting outside in line. Even though there was a line out the parking lot there was about two employees working which didn't help much with the line. It'll be great if there's more people working.

I guess it's really that hard to separate your cans from plastic before you bring them down. You could sure tell that the man working was extremely irritated at this 1 customer who had a lot of bags with it all mixed together. It didn't help that it was after 4 & the guy really just wanted to go home. My hat is off to this man who never said a bad thing & just kept on doing his job.

What are the correct hours. Yelp says closed at 4:30 and the sign on your building says 4:30 I believe.
I've arrived @3:50-4:00 and gates were closed and the employee at the gate was firm on not allowing any other vehicles? This has happened 3different times. Can you please correct the hours on yelp. I tried calling but it was just an answering machine with directions and similar hours. Thank you

I used to love this place. The staff is cool and the money is good. However, I was there this past week and waited one hour (part of it in the sun) to get to the person who weighs the items. They implemented a new system where they go through each and every can/plastic bottle looking for water in the bottles, sand/rocks in the cans. They have the same amount of staff members to do twice the work. Not cool. I won't be going back.

To all the recycling junkies out there, here's a location you might want to visit. ReCyCo of Fresno has been a place I've been visiting since the age of 14, I'm 21 now, not living in Fresno anymore but when I get the chance to visit, I'm selling my cans here.
The employees over the past years have definitely changed up and the scene of happy recycling has changed a bit, nevertheless the business running standards are still the same.
Reason for the three star review of this place was due to some unfortunate circumstances I've received with previous employees.

Recyco is the worst recycler in town. Avoid at all costs. Their employees are rude, lazy and obnoxious. The worst part is that you never know when they are open. Their hours state they are open until 5:30 pm but I have arrived a half hour before closing and they wouldn't let me or anyone else in. I also arrived one hour before closing and again they were closed. The place is filthy, loud and their lines are super long while some employees do nothing and don't open new lines. If this happens to you too please file a Better Business Bureau report.

I consider myself a green person. I recycle at home, but if I can get my CRV back I will. Recyco is the closest recycling facility to me, but there are pros and cons. The place is filthy and loud. The employees work quick, I do my own math, because there have been a few times that my price for pounds were off. A good place though.

4 stars does not mean this is the equivalent of a 4-star hotel. Let's look at this in terms of recycling centers....
I've always found the employees more than helpful, however, there was one man who possibly either didn't understand English well, or he just didn't want to help. He's the ONE exception, so I won't throw out the baby with the bathwater. I've taken my recyclables there 3 times now, and have dealt with only one fellow that wasn't super helpful. Hey, we're all entitled to a bad day....
They have a system. You simply abide by the system
