For optimal disinfection of contact lens we always recommend that a rubbing step be added to the cleaning of contacts. Adenoviral conjunctivitis (Ad-CS), also known as "pink eye, " is one of the most common eye infections worldwide. Ad-CS is highly symptomatic, causing discomfort, tearing, lid swelling, light sensitivity, and decreased vision. A small tear sample is collected from the inside of your lower eyelid and transferred onto the test.
When discussing your vision it is worth noting that your ability to see continually changes as you age. Most infants are hyperopic (farsighted) and most adults are myopic (nearsighted). In between lies a broad spectrum for you to be in. Much of this has to do with the shape of your eye. The type of correction that you will need depends on the deviation of your eye.

This doc is the bee's knees! He's so funny and personable and he always makes sure that the prescription really works. Last year, he sent me home with a bunch of disposable contacts because I was going on vacation and wouldn't have time to order real contacts, and this year he let me come back for a follow up appointment a couple of times because I've been having some issues with a contact fit on one eye due to astigmatism. I really can't rave about him enough.

After 20+ years at TSO, I had recently become frustrated. Someone suggested I try Dr. Degenaer. Located at Walmart, I was hesitant.. Y'all, this was one of the best decisions of my life! I've always worn contacts for distance but recently needed reading glasses. TSO fitted me for monovision, one contact for reading and one for distance. It was a miserable two years. Dr. D asked me not to give up, but to give his prescription a try. I could immediately see better! Now I don't have to pull out those fancy reading glasses to look at my phone AND I can read the street signs! Saw him

I am very impressed with this office. Not only do they have all the modern eye measuring equipment, but the staff provided exceptional care with cleanliness and explaining the procedures. Dr. Degenaer took time to perform and review all eye tests including dilatation, which some offices no longer do. He explained the test results, shared images, answered all my questions, and discussed options I was not aware of. Great experience for me; I would highly recommend.

I met Dr. Paul because my grand father n law had an eye appointment some years ago and I decided to give him a try for my families needs. He is very informative and very friendly. He even had to take a piece of rust out my eye, which was scary and he helped me through it. I would recommend him and his staff to anyone.

Paul and the staff is absolutely wonderful from customer service to actual help of everything. I recently tried contacts and was scared of even the thought of touching my eye and they were so awesome with everything. I highly recommend them for every reason, they caring and it's always great talking with them because they genuinely care. Thanks guys! And for helping getting pass being scared of contacts.

After my daughter failed her eye test at school I decided to take her to Dr. Degenaer for her eye exam. During the exam Dr. Degenaer was thorough and patient while she was making her decisions on the eye machine. Afterwards he told us of his findings and explained her needs to us. He then answered all our questions to our satisfaction. His entire team was very kind. Even scheduling an appointment was easy and the location is convenient. I felt he took very good care of my daughter. Dr. Degenaer didn't try to sell me things I didn't need, which is a welcomed change to the norm around the

The last two visits (once per year) the doctor has been EXTREMELY rude and even has mocked and mimicked me as I am answering his questions. He was gesturing large and talking loud at me as though I were deaf. I have absolutely no idea why he acted this way toward me. I was not rude or demanding, and did nothing to make him dislike me. The first time, I gave him the benefit of the doubt thinking we all have an off day. Today I brought my children in for their annual visit and he was shockingly rude and mocking separate times during the visit. I am shocked at his behavior, and will not be returning
