GLO Skin Care's Appointment and Payment Policies are strictly followed for all Patients. We understand that everyone has things that come up - work, kids, or emergencies. In the world of 2020, GLO Skin Care's Appointment and Payment Policies have an even greater importance, as we are only permitted to schedule at 25% capacity.
Chemical peels improve the skin's appearance. In this treatment, a chemical solution is applied to the skin, which makes it "blister" and eventually peel off. The new skin is usually smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin. Reduce age spots, freckles, and dark patches (melasma) due to pregnancy or taking birth control pills.
Dermaplaning is a method of exfoliation that uses a small sterile blade to gently scrape off the top layer of dulling dead skin cells and vellus hair (peach fuzz). Removing peach fuzz is beneficial since the fine hairs trap debris and oils and give skin a dull look. Dermaplaning is a safe treatment for almost everybody.
As we age, acne scars often become more noticeable because our skin loses collagen. The key to effective treatment is to select the best one for each scar type. For example, a patient who has some deep scars may benefit from getting a filler, which adds volume to the skin. Although we know what increases a person's risk of developing acne scars, it is not possible to predict who will develop acne scars.

I met these lovely ladies at a womens event in Carlisle recently. A breath of fresh air! The nurse spoke at a seminar titled "you are enough." I was impressed with the fact she had time to speak about their services, she took the time to educate the women and men listening on how the pandemic has impacted women. It was very thoughtful. The team at the booth were so sweet and light hearted. Their laughter and kindness was the talk of the show. I just left my first appointment and feel so grateful to have these ladies in my life! Thank you, I am proud to say they called me the newest GLO girl!

I have been a client of Carmen’s for many years and she has been wonderful to me. When I walk into her office no matter how my day could be going I know by the time I walk out of her office I will be feeling much better. Carmen and her staff make you feel welcome and at ease. This was my first time getting my lips done and I am a huge baby when it comes to needles. I was really excited and really nervous, but I barely felt any discomfort other than my own anxiety over needles. Carmen explained everything we needed to know (both my girlfriend and I got consulted). She was patient and kind with my anxiety over needles. The job she had done was phenomenal. I didn’t look fake or over-done, I looked natural and when I looked in the mirror my mind was blown! Instantly I felt the most beautiful I have ever felt, and I’m so happy.

Health hazard!!!!!! when Carmen used the numbing cream on me, the bottle it came from was so gross. Product crusted all over the edges, it looked extremely old and dirty. And she put it on my lips. That was at my last checkup in April 2021. Red flags from the start. Showed up for my apt and the office was closed. Contacted the owner Carmen and she apologized and had me come back offering me a discount for the inconvenience. I have been loving Glo Skin Care and their entire staff for over a year now. I couple months ago I decided to try the PRF treatment. This past week I had my third treatment and am loving how my face is transforming into a younger version.
