At Black Belt Movers we standardize our rates to keep things simple and transparent for our customers. We do not charge any additional fees for mileage, fuel or the types of objects we move for you (though you're gonna owe us some major kudos for moving your third cousin Bessie's "unique" rock collection).

I had received great reviews from friends so I went this company for our move, HUGE MISTAKE! We had all of our belongings in storage waiting to move to our new home. They arrived on time and when going over paperwork reminded my that a cash tipped was preferred. That threw me off a bit as they hadn't done anything yet and was asking for extra money. They started loading the trucks. On multiple occasions I saw them stacking boxes 4 or 5 high and boxes and then boxes would be tumbling to the ground. I went into one of the two storage units after they emptied it and found broken glass.

Cesar C, Alex C and Isaiah W did an amazing job for us! We moved from a downtown apartment to a new townhome. Both locations have a lot of stairs, and they navigated through all the obstacles with speed and care for our belongings. All three young men are professional, polite and work fast. You can tell this isn't just a "job" to them, they take responsibility for their work and show leadership. We highly recommend Black Belt movers, and especially this awesome crew!

Our experience with Black Belt Movers was amazing! We had the pleasure of Tyson, Jesse & Noah to move our things. They were prompt, efficient & extremely careful with our belongings. They were even kind enough to move the crib upstairs that was already in our home. If you're in the Lincoln or Omaha area I highly suggest this company as well will be using them again the next time we move!

Just had black belt movers help move me again and I loved them as much now as I did five years ago! The 3 man crew was extremely professional and extremely diligent with our valuables. We emptied out an entire Dino's storage unit and had several pieces of furniture that needed to be moved into our basement level. Even with the horrendous -4 degree weather they had smiles the whole time and worked cohesively with us to figure out the best placement for our belongings. The best moving team I've had!!! I've been moving so many times in different states and this is the best team by far. I flew back to Council Bluffs IA to help my parents move to Bellevue Nebraska and I only had 4 days to move. It was overwhelming for me because my dad has so many books. A lot of them are so heavy. I did not think I would be able to get this done in one day but it was POSSIBLE with black belt movers. The movers were so efficient and professional. They had to make two trips to move all the furniture and books we had but it was done within 5 hours. Impressive

Really hard to do this as we had a mixed experience. However, I would not recommend them at the end of the day. Friends of our warned us...but they were the only team that could do the move on the date we wanted it.
BUY UPGRADED INSURANCE! It costs more, but the check we received for 4 damaged items doesn't cover the replacement cost of the least expensive item.
Scheduling, answering questions and the "lead" mover were all pretty positive experiences. One of the movers didn't know what he was doing: 1). scratchd our floors in the old house after repeatedly telling

We had a positive experience with BlackBelt. Every team is different, so I could see how some people may not have good experiences, while other rave. Damian, Eric and Dominic helped us on 6/27 with our move, and it was a good experience.
We didn't see an email from the night before confirming the morning time, so did not reply, so instead of arriving at 7:30 AM it was 8:30 which was our fault. If you want yours to go smoothly with less stress, do NOT use this company! They gave us a two hour window. They were scheduled at 10-noon. At 10:30, we haven't heard, no idea where they are, if they are running late or even coming. When I called the office, the staff was rude and short with me.

If I could give than one I would. Simply the worst experience possible. Would have been better to move myself - will definitely never use again and I recommend you do the same.
First, they showed up, propped open my door before I got my cats secured, feared one had escaped as I could not find her, the answer from the crew?
"Well they are free at the pound, so you can get another one"
Then after discussing how who fault it's was, the crew threatened to just pull my stuff off the truck then..
Second, they show up without a moving dolly

This was two years ago, but thought I'd leave my two cents anyhow.
Basically the long and short of it is, they were rude to my kids, and made no secret about the fact that they were in a hurry to finish because they wanted to watch the Nebraska game. I'm actually pretty sure that they lied and said my twins' bunk beds were broken, so they didn't have to put them together in the new apartment and they'd be done faster.
