I was born on Long Island, NY (North Babylon) but, moved to the Melbourne area at age 7 so I consider myself a native Floridian. I attended Melbourne High School and during the summer of Jr. and Sr. year of school met my wife, Wendy. We adopted our 2 children from Colombia in 2007 a sibling pair, Maria 7 at the time and JP 3. We have 2 dogs, Dalmatians, Maverick and Roxy.
Well I got permission today from this patient to tell of this story. He comes in with low back pain, walks with a walker and has a condition where his left leg spasms, tightens up and in the straightened position. This happens for a few minutes until the muscles in his leg relaxes and start to go back to a normal position.
A trauma-trained doctor of chiropractic must be a board-certified chiropractor and licensed by the state. These doctors are co-credentialed through both chiropractic and medical academia.
On the medical side that credentials are from the Accreditation Council for Continuing Graduate Medical Education (ACCGME) in conjunction with the State University of New York at Buffalo, Jacobs School of Medicine and from Cleveland University Kansas City, Chiropractic Health Sciences, Texas Chiropractic College or Pace approved for the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards and various state licensure boards.

Dr. Canuel is amazing at what he does. Every experience I have there has always be great. They always seem to go above and beyond to fit you in even when you are extremely busy and call them hours before. The facility is always clean and sanitized. The staff are always helpful, polite and welcoming. Dr. Canuel and his staff have always provided the best care possible for me and I appreciate having them as my chiropractic provider.

What an amazing office, amazing staff, amazing doctor!! They have made each visit such a pleasure no matter what the reason for the appointment we have left happy. Their office is warm and friendly. They've made sure we felt comfortable during this crazy pandemic, we have not once felt uncomfortable or vulnerable because of the virus during one single appointment since the pandemic first began. There has always been hand sanitizer readily available on the reception counter, we have never had more than one other patient in the office during the pandemic... The office staff cleans their hands constantly

I was in a car accident a few months back. It was hard to get here at first. No car no transportation ugh I didn't know what to do. Last month I finally figured out the bus system and how it works. When I went for my first appointment I was hooked. I was a little nervous at first but I started going more and more and it helped me tremendously. Kaitlyn has been a big help for me. Wendy is very helpful when it comes to appointments and scheduling. Doc will get you right. I've walked, taken busses, and rode a bike to make my appointments so there's no excuse why you shouldn't make yours. Trust me

Dr. Canuel was excellent and very knowledgeable, Kaitlin and Wendy are excellent and help in anyway with billing scheduling and treatment. The office and facilities are cleaned constantly and all staff follows state guidelines. Without a doubt the best Chiropractor I have ever been too, I am disabled Veteran and they treat you with care respect. Thank you very much Dr. Canuel, Wendy and Kaitlin.

After hurting my back mountain biking I called Dr Canuel after getting a recommendation by a coworker. I have never been to a chiropractor before and I did not know what to expect. To my surprise they were able to get me in the next day and provided some much needed pain relief. Over that last couple weeks of treatment I am now almost back to normal. I wish I had not waited 2 days before calling them.
