I love Snip Salon so much. The staff are this awesome family who make you feel a part of the community. The owner Lawrence is insanely talented. He's cut my hair while long and while short, and always leaves me feeling great. I've recently been going to M, and she's amazing! At my first visit with M, she asked who's been cutting my hair, and I admitted that I'd been doing it myself during the pandemic. She promised to get me back on track, and she did not disappoint! M is my go to now, and after three visits I'm totally hooked on her. Thanks Snip Salon!

A friendly callback responding to my message, offering a last minute cancelation. My stylist, Danny, was warm and professional, giving me a lovely haircut. Their masking policy is strict, but Danny was precisely helpful in assisting me maintain my face covering. And my husband tells me I look beautiful.

Lawrence is the BEST. Hadn't cut my hair in almost 2 years and was very anxious but I knew he started cutting it that he was an incredible stylist. Took so much time making it perfect. We were on a much-needed vacation in P-Town and walked by Snip. On a whim and a good vibe I booked an appointment for the same afternoon. Gerald surpasses all expectations, and transformed my mangy COIVID-coif into a fresh summer 'do. The whole shop was sparkling clean and super safe. I wish I lived closer so I could see Gerald and Snip all the time!

Snip Salon came through for me in a huge way on my wedding day. Billie Jean did such an amazing job on my hair and makeup- I have never felt more beautiful than I did that day. The day before my wedding, we realized that there was a mixup and someone had called the salon a few weeks prior and cancelled mine, my sister-in-laws and my mother's hair and makeup appointments. The staff at Snip handled it quickly and with minimal stress, and had us all looking our best. My hair and makeup withstood hours of pictures, ocean breezes, and tears of joy, and Billie Jean was a much-needed calming presence

I had been traveling and found myself in Provincetown. I really needed a partial foil before I continued on with my journey overseas. Billie Jean did an excellent job and suggested I could also use a trim. I agreed and got a great cut, as well. My entire experience was excellent. I would definitely return to this salon and I recommend it to anyone in need of professional care for their hair and friendly service.

Well! This is my 1k Yelp review and I was hoping that it would be special. It is. Why? Because I'm vacationing in my favorite New England spot...my happy place, P-town.

Fairly recently, I chopped off my very long hair and donated it. It grows very fast and it's really easy to not go for regular cuts...kinda saves money and I'm super lazy when it comes to styling my mop. But my last cut didn't grow in well and it was driving me nuts.

This place is just wonderful and makes you feel right at home. I have had both Lawrence and Justine cut my hair, but would glad go to anyone. Both have done wonderful jobs with my cut. The place was also decked out for Halloween and my son loved it! Will happily be back again!

I lived in Provincetown this past summer and had 3 haircuts with Lawrence. 4-5 months later, not having touched the top of my hair, I am still very pleased with how everything has grown in. This is a true testament to a quality cut. Historically I have hated haircuts in new places; I am notoriously fussy with my hair and the idea of some stranger changing it in an instant terrifies me. Lawrence took his time visualizing before snipping, asked questions along the way, and spared no detail. Super friendly vibes in here - real hair professionals. I had been with the same hair dresser for twenty years, and always got a great, but predictable cut. On a whim and on a friends recommendation I made an appt. with Lawrence.
He knew exactly what I was trying to describe, and took it up a notch. The cut was flawless. Even days later- out of the shower, no product or blow dryer, and it still looks great. I was never able to duplicate the look right out of the salon, but Lawrence gave me a tutorial as he worked, and the next day- I could reproduce the look. A first for me. The sign of a great cut. And no pressure to buy product. Another first

I really needed a hair cut...no I really needed a style and that's what I got. Thanks to the master hand's of Gerald. I can't say enough about how he made me feel. I walked into the shop hoping to find someone who might have time for me and I got the only slot. Not only did I get a new style I had the time of my life. Gerald's personality is so welcoming, warm and friendly he put me at ease, while masterfully cutting and shaping a new look.
Now I live 3 hour's away.... so will I head back to P-TOWN...you bet. Have to figure out how to do this but where there is

I have short, fine hair and I always ask for the same kind of dyke-pixie cut, something to keep my hair from being boring. I think it needs a very sharp (kept sharp) straight razor. The cuts I usually get are nearly 'on' but there's always a little something missing. (Even at the hip salon in the major city where I live.)
Justine got the cut exactly right.
And she advised me to spritz salt water on it and avoid conditioner for best results.
Good advice.
She's genuine, funny (droll) and a true hair artist. She knows her stuff.

Justine made my hair look fabulous. He was very skilled and gave me a totally new look that I love. Everyone there was very nice as well. They were helpful and accommodating even though it was a very busy Saturday. I had to come back a couple of hours later but it was worth it.

Billie Jean is more than justvan artist - she's a healer. The 45 minutes I spend in her chair is more powerful than any sacrament in a church. She sees what's best for you and does not fail to bring it into focus.

I just love it here. Lawrence is amazing, my hair always looks and feels fabulous! I had him color me for the first time today and he got it perfect. I already had complete trust in him as he has cut my hair multiple times, but today just sealed the deal.

I also had Justine do a trial run for my upcoming wedding... she is such a sweetheart, easy to talk to and all I had to do was give her a quick idea of what I wanted and viola! She hit it the first go 'round. I didn't bring a picture or anything. I'm so looking forward to having her complete my hair and makeup on the big day!

Came to P'town for Bear Week as a grizzly, got a wild hair and decided on a change. I went to see Billie Jean at Snip for some color in my mostly white beard. She rocks and all the guys are really cool and welcoming. After a day, I decided the color was too dark she sat me back down and lightened it until I was happy with it. I'm now sporting a nice dark ginger beard and love it!

Major props to Justine for the cut and color today at Snip. I'm neurotic about my hair, and she did a great job on my complicated 'do. She listens very well and takes her time to do a meticulous job. As I learned, hairdressing requires both geometry and chemistry, and she's good at both. Now it's gonna be hard to go back to by regular hairdresser.

Everyone at the shop was super nice, too. No attitude. Very attentive.

I LOVE this place! Billie Jean is the best stylist I've ever been to. I usually won't let anyone cut my hair because it's really long/thick/wavy and most people can't cut it well or style it. BUT.. Billie Jean is amazing!!!!!

I came to her last year for my wedding hair.. I was incredibly nervous, but she did my hair EXACTLY as I pictured it, and she also did my makeup like a pro. I looked like I had gone to a professional makeup studio. Not only did I look natural and fabulous on my wedding day, but she kept me laughing the entire time!
