Creekside Nursery, Inc. was founded in 1992. As the name indicates, the business was started as a small plant nursery. Eventually, sod removal and sod installation were added to complement the plant business. This played to the strengths of the business owner as he had many years of experience in the sod industry.
The business steadily grew in the years ahead from one truck, one forklift, and three employees to, the current status of 5 heavy-duty delivery trucks, 25 forklifts, and 30 full-time employees. In this time period, we also incorporated our own sod fields. We currently have a 150-acre St. Augustine Floratam field and we harvest Bahia at different locations throughout central Florida.

Creekside Nursery has been selling and installing sod, landscaping and related services for over 25 years. We service the entire state of Florida, and have travelled out of state on special projects. If you have a residential or commercial project which needs sod, landscaping or irrigation, Creekside will be there to serve you.
The residential homeowner customer was our vision when we started Creekside Nursery. Over the years as our business grew we incorporated a strong commercial client base but we did not loose sight of our commitment to the residential homeowner client. We have always understood the importance of close interaction between you the customer and our landscape professional.
With over 30 years of experience in dealing with General Contractors, Zenen Valdes the owner of Creekside Nursery, realized early on the need for a business that could manage all aspects in the Green Industry, i.e.: Landscaping, sodding, Irrigation, Erosion Control and Grading. Over the years Creekside Nursery has evolved into a company that can accommodate all of these services and products.
In order to increase our business Creekside Nursery started to more aggressively target landscape contractors in 2009. We can now provide all kind of landscape materials at a very competitive pricing and great quality. We have partnered with several large growers throughout the United States and have secured competitive trucking rates from large freight companies to be able to deliver the material to your location or your job site.
Zenen has been a resident of Florida since 1975; he graduated from Leto Comprehensive high school in 1981 and entered the business world shortly there after. He has held many positions in the green industry including sales, management and finally as business owner when he incorporated Creeekside Nursery in 1992.

I recently had Creekside Nursery sod my back yard. It was probably one of the best experiences I have ever had with a service company. Their representative came out when he said he would to give me an estimate. He explained the entire process (I also had irrigation installed), when the work would begin and how it would be done. Everything happened just as he said it would and all the workers I came in contact with were very knowledgeable, respectful and most of all, hard working people. You could tell they took a lot of pride in their work and wanted my yard to reflect the values of the company
