Cameron's was founded in 1924 by Al Cameron who started one of New England's first sod producing companies. While the sod business continued to grow, the company expanded its business into areas that today include hydro-seeding and commercial landscape installation throughout New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Southern Maine.

Cameron's Home & Garden Center in Farmington, NH has long been a favorite place to shop for people of the Lakes Region as well as the Seacoast. Cameron's applies Hydroseeding and erosion control materials to thousands of acres each year.

Several years ago, Cameron's invested in a state-of-the-art Grade Stake Mill. This asset dramatically increased production of our grades stakes. Our quality of grade stakes is further enhanced by our ability to selectively saw logs in our own Sawmill operation. We produce and sell over a half million mixed-hardwood grade stakes per year.

Fantastic long standing local business! Literally been going there my whole life. Fond memories of me and my dad in his old dump truck buying several thousand board feet of rough sawn pine. Sadly no more roughsawn pine. However if you need hemlock timbers or planking, they have tons at a reasonable price. All around a total package of Fantastic hardware selections, roughsawn and dressed nominal lumber, as well as landscaping supplies. Very knowledgeable staff.

This place has gone downhill, on multiple and consecutive occasions, I was treated rudely by the cashier who rebuffed my questions with a really snotty attitude. They are overpriced and don’t care about your business unless you are a ‘commercial’ customer. Plenty of better options that would welcome your business with sincere customer service and a smile.

If I could share a photo I would. Last fall we had Cameron’s hydroseed a horse paddock we had just converted from forest to field. They were great help and the job was done quickly and thoroughly by some really nice guys! We will definitely be having them back out to do the next two pastures we have planned. It’s been less than a year but we have amazing coverage and a very healthy turf!!!
