My name is Manuel Rodriguez born in Habana, Cuba. In 1993 I made with my bear hands a rubber raft that allowed me to cross over the ocean to get to the United States and chase my dreams. I am the first family member who came to the United States looking for opportunities for a better future and what better country than the United States!
I started on the sod business in 1999 I knew I had to start from the bottom and learn everything there is about sod, it was a challenge I must say but with the type of drive I have I felt nothing was going to stop me from accomplishing my dreams and becoming my own boss.

I have to start off by saying that I am not the easiest person to please. I know what I like. I know what I need. I know what I expect. In the expect field, I expect to be treated like a valued customer and shown respect. I expect you to start off by showing me what I have asked to see, not divert me off to what you want to sell me. I expect you to show me what I have indicated I can afford, not tempt me with something out of my budget. I am on SS and therefore a very limited budget. Jose and Manny and team are awesome to work with. They helped us redo our sod, irrigation and shrubbery after a pool install. Very fair with pricing easy to work with and on time with scheduling and updates. Would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a one on one experience and not just become a number at a bigger store.

Rodriguez sod came in the month of February, there price was the lowest out of 3 estimates, I used them for that reason. I had them install 20 yards of shells and 9 pallets of St. Augustine sod. The shells were spread at ½ inch to 1 inch deep, not near deep enough, and didn’t have a weed blocker or barrier all throughout the shells which was part of the contact. Sod had patches of brown after one month, after calling 5 times and not hearing back I moved to this review. Oh almost forgot during the sod installation the workers cut an electrical line to my outdoor lighting and never fixed it. Manny

Manny and his team are as good as it gets! They have treated us like family from the very start. We had over 2,000 sq ft of Bermuda sod installed and it has been 2 months since install and it's done wonderfully.

This company will not do what they promise to do.. everything from when they are going to give you an estimate, when they are going to put sod down, you name it- They just disappear and forget about you after telling you they will do something. Just a horrible, unprofessional company that I regret contacting in the first place. Don't waste your time here.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! I did ALOT of research and price comparison for the service and quality of the job that I was looking for. This week, I had over 3,000sq ft area resod and they did it all (removal,prep and installation). The key things that will have my continued loyalty as a customer is their great communication and honesty. Very reasonably priced! We are the talk of the neighborhood having several people asking who did they job bc of how nice our lawn looks! Make sure to check them out and tell them I referred you!
