Founded in 1975 by Robert D. Botkin, BPA is proud to have served thousands of clients throughout the United States, primarily in the South Florida counties of Palm Beach, Martin, Broward and Miami-Dade. Our office is staffed by a multi-talented team of professionals who work together to handle a multitude of engineering challenges.
We provide clients with engineering for various types of projects and structures. Our services are tailored to clients' needs. They may include structural, civil, electrical, mechanical, plumbing and threshold inspection.
We prepare and present to clients a total project plan, including scope, timeline schedule and project costs; assist clients in capital budgeting; manage Architects/Engineers for on-time and within-budget design of projects; conduct coordination and review meetings; monitor Quality Assurance; perform constructability reviews; establish construction phasing and project milestones.

As Building/Project Engineers, we prepare structural plans and specifications for the renovation, restoration and maintenance of multi-story condominium buildings constructed from the early 1900's to present. As part of our construction-phase services, we provide contract administration and construction management to oversee alterations to the buildings.
Each project is unique, and we can adjust our services to meet your needs. Commercial renovation projects require special attention to the existing structures in order to execute a client's plans while maintaining the structural integrity of the building. Whether new or existing buildings, all of our commercial projects require structural designs and detailing.
BPA is a certified disadvantaged small business that has contracts with a number of local municipalities and governmental entities, including Palm Beach County, the City of Juno Beach, the City of West Palm Beach and the South Florida Water Management District. We also have worked on numerous structures for municipalities and public agencies across South Florida.
