Salon was dirty. Hair dryers had old hair stuck to the back vents. The stylist carried on conversations with her co workers and their clients instead of her own client. Color was done well. Hair cut was not the best, uneven cut and did not verify satisfaction with the cut. When leaving, the stylist walked me to the front to pay and left without saying a word. Front desk didn't even attempt to book another appointment. Will not return.

I showed the stylist a picture of exactly what I wanted. It was a basic balayage - easy, right? No. I was not pleased with the result at all. I left with harsh lines from where my natural hair color ended and the highlights began. I'm concerned that the stylist was an upper level stylist with 18 years experience and couldn't do a basic balayage. The cost was also ridiculous. I paid way too much to turn around and have to get it redone. It's unfortunate that one stylist can ruin an entire salons reputation but I definitely will not return to Leigh Mason.

Everyone seemed friendly. I wasn't sure why they had 2nd clothing for sale but to each business owner their own. What I did like was Jess, my stylist. She took her time, I was nervous because I have long hair with some bad experiences. My main complaint was I asked someone who walked up to the desk for some water, she seemed annoyed yet obliged. The glass looked dirty I couldn't drink it, maybe water bottles would be nice?

I went to this place to get a haircut and some color. My first impression was good since the front desk people were very polite and professional. I scheduled my appointment with an elite hairstylist and the first question I expected her to ask was, when was the last time you got a haircut? (Important and typical question most professional hairstylist ask) Well, that was something she never asked. I tried to start a conversation with her and tell her twice when was the last time I got a haircut but she immediately cut me off. I visit this salon every 2 weeks to see Allie L. for a shellac manicure! She does a terrific job. But as a hair stylist she is simply fabulous from what I can see! All the stylists seem to stay busy with all their repeat customers, which is the mark of a successful salon. The only reason I don't get my hair done there is my niece is a hairstylist who gives me a generous family discount! Otherwise this is where I would go! You can't go wrong with choosing this salon!
