Mathews Manor was built in 1930 and first opened as the Forks Inn Restaurant. It then became a private residence and was purchased by the current owners Debbie & Harold Mathews in 1999. After some remodeling, Rebecca Gardens first opened in 2001 for weddings and special events. Grace Hall was built and opened in 2003 to fulfill the desire to offer space for larger weddings & events.
Across the street, Micah's Meadow held its' first wedding in 2009 and offers a peaceful outdoor setting for your ceremony.

This charming newly remodeled garden location can seat up to 130 for an outdoor ceremony at the 20-foot white gazebo. Wandering the gardens you will find peaceful waterfall features throughout as well as additional seating for guests around the great oak tree. Rebecca's Garden accommodates reception areas under our spacious pavilion.
This majestic hall features beautiful arches and columns with an opulent feel. It offers both indoor and outdoor locations for your ceremony featuring an adjacent pavilion and courtyard with a working fireplace. Indoors the great hall with its elegant 50-foot draping can accommodate up to 500 guests for your ceremony or reception.
At Mathews Manor's newest venue, take a stroll over our fairytale bridge to our many ceremony location options in this all-natural setting. The meadow includes a beautiful wooden arbor on a 30-foot stone stage, a larger 50-foot stone stage as an option or lastly, our newest location includes draping and chandeliers which hangs from a 100-year-old oak.
Mathews Manor has been designing dream cakes for over 30 years. In fact, that's how the business started, with Owner, Debbie Mathews, baking and creating cakes out of her home. We have endless possibilities of cake flavors and designs for your wedding or private event. If you can dream it; we can make it!
Mathews Manor offers full catering services for your wedding or event. Our facilities are equipped with 3 commercial kitchens and a highly experienced staff. A friend of my wife works here and she assures me its an amazing place. The kitchen manager, who also makes and decorates all the amazing bride and grooms cakes is also an amazing person. She has her hand in a little bit of everything there. Decorations are beautiful. I would recommend this place to all the couples getting married in the future. I photographed a few weddings at Mathews Manor. I think it is an average wedding venue. The staff is very helpful and kind but they were very slow to flip the room and serve food. It took way too long to get guests settled and comfortable.
The venue is a typical barn style venue and the good thing is there is AC inside , which some venues do not have. There are a few good spots for photos. I prefer the house section of the property over the barn, but I am personally tired of the barn wedding trend.
The food is not very good and ranks below average. Both times I went when they put out a charcuterie

My wife and I got married at Micah’s Meadow and we both loved it. It was a day we will never forget. The whole process was easy thanks to the friendly wedding planners and staff. The decorations were perfect and the day itself was very well planned out and we were ahead of the planned scheduled, again thanks to the wonderful wedding planner. Our food was very good and presented nicely. The cake was also delicious. Thank you for making our day so special.

I attended a wedding at Mathews manor and as a fellow 2021 bride, I was extremely disappointed at the service and professionalism and food that was provided at my friend’s wedding. First the bartender made a comment to guests when questioned about it the bar was open stating “there’s a money issue with the bride and groom”. Now even if that were the case that information should have never been told to guests. Next when we were seated for dinner our silverware was filthy with spots and stuck on food that I’m sure was noticeable while the silverware was being put out. When asked for plastic

I am really disappointed that i am even having to write a review on a wedding venue and about a special persons wedding day. I will start with the house that was used for the bridal party to get ready in. The house was filthy, cob webs, unclean bathrooms, the floors were just as dirty. No one would want to have clean beautiful clothes in a place like that. Next the reception, the food was a DISGRACE! How could your staff serve people inedible food! We reserved Micah Meadows at Mathews Manor for our son’s rehearsal dinner. I would highly recommend this venue. It was perfect - rustic but elegant.
The event planner, Brittany was amazing to work with. She was very professional, courteous and listened very well to all my requests and met each and every one of them. She communicated well with the staff as the evening was just as I had envisioned. The floral team did an absolutely beautiful job. All of our concerns were addressed sufficiently and the event was just perfect.

We absolutely loved our experience working with Mathews Manor. Everyone was extremely nice and so knowledgable. We worked with Brittany a lot and she was great. She was very personable, and made sure that everything that we wanted was included, and she even sent me pictures to help with ideas. The flowers, cake, decor, food, and venue was all included in our final price, and that made everything so convenient. Tammie with flowers was amazing. There are no finer people in this business than the Mathews. I have known this family for 19 years and have enjoyed watching their business grow. Mathews Manor has several different event settings, depending on your needs and wants. They have a large event room with a large platform for weddings, they have a poolside area for receptions or dances, they have a barn they can use for a more quaint event. Every time I've been or hosted an event here, I've walked away pleased with their quality, their people skills, and their great service.

Last night my daughter was married at Mathews Manor. It was absolutely beautiful! My son and daughter-in-law were married in Grace Hall many years ago. Our daughter chose Micah's Meadow and it was so beautiful, especially after it got dark.

Rushed out of the reception before everyone had even got to go through!!!!! HATE THIS PLACE! Not enough food and then told they only had it until a certain time.. THIS was their fault. IT was unorganized. Also, several things were really dirty.. when we got there.. not after. So, please for the money you pay GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. If they do not care to have it clean then something is wrong.. It COULD BE a good venue. Sadly, IT IS NOT. I'm not sure what was suppose to be at the reception. It was gone. We left and went through Jack's.

I have to say that they have multiple beautiful wedding settings. However, they do nothing to direct guests to the correct wedding setting for the correct wedding. During my visit. both myself and many, many other wedding guests saw the sign for Mathews manor and pulled in, only to observe a wedding rehearsal and not the wedding we were there to witness. There were no signs, whiteboard, or list of events with locations listed by the Mathews Manor sign or in the building immediately next to it or on the website that indicated where we should go.
