This place is horrible. My daughter had braces here and some of the technicians were incompetent, mostly painful band removal but a couple of times she had to endure multiple bandings in the same visit. When she started treatment they had 2 days a week they did ortho, part way through they reduced it to 1 day a week and would not allow her to go to another of the offices Dr. Barkhorder operates, the office manager is not a nice person.
I had a root canal where they ran out of gas part way through, didn't complete it and told me to come back the next day to finish(without gas). Never again.

I highly recommend this location to all my friends and family. The doctor and staff are amazing. They explained the treatment to me in such great detail. I understood everything so clearly. The staff makes me feel at home. They are so friendly and welcoming. The office is nice and clean. They always make me laugh. I am extremely satisfied with the treatment I have been receiving. Vanessa is amazing she worked with me. Jaime is great he always makes me laugh. Dr.Bavar is a great orthodontist. I recommend this office to everyone!

I haven’t been to the dentist in forever and when I came to modern dentistry everyone was super nice and professional. I was interested in getting braces but at the time I wasn’t ready so I had to make another appointment. They were really nice and helped make another appointment for 2 weeks later. The facility was very clean and Vanessa helped me with the finance part and she was amazing and worked out a great deal and payment plan for my braces! I’m really glad I chose this dentist to come and get them wonderful experience. And Dr. Jaime was also amazing. Looking forward to the next 3 years

This orthodontist is one of the best ones I’ve been too. They have the nicest workers here, I’ve been coming for a little bit over a year and it’s honestly the best. They treat me so good and they’re so gentle with putting on the braces. They try doing putting them on the quickest as they can which I like because i am an impatient person but yeah the workers are so nice and they treat you well.

I have nothing but excellent things to say about Orthodontics of El Segundo. They were amazing and exceeded all my expectation. I did a lot of research before selecting and office because getting braces is definitely an investment. I ended up choosing this office both because they were very positive and upbeat and because they offered the best pricing options. After my treatment my teeth looked 100 times better than they ever had and so ultimately they gave me exactly what I was hoping for. I'm a happy customer and would suggest contacting them if you live in the area and need orthodontic work

My daughter has her braces done here and she loved coming to this office. My wife and I really appreciate how kind they were both to us and to my daughter as a patient. Her teeth are perfectly straight now and she is so happy and so much more confident. This is a great office with very kind people and if you have children who need orthodontic work I highly recommend them.
