Overall, a GREAT gym. Has all the equipment that you need. Squat racks, benches, machines, bumper plates for deadlifts, nice bars, nice plates, wide selection of dumbbells. Very clean and organized. Staff was very nice and attentive. We flew in on our honeymoon and on our first day there I called and said come on down and they’ll sign me up. Never missed a beat in my training if you’re definitely serious about it. They have weekly passes if you’re in on vacation or honeymoon like us. Only dislike was that it wasn’t 24 hours.

Great gym, lots of machines. However, the selection on barbell plates is limited so you'll struggle for heavy (3/400lbs +) deadlifts. Also no chalk allowed so bring your wraps.

Staff was pleasant, exception being the short haired front desk attendant that resembles a bald eagle being rude when buying a one week pass and throughout our lifts. Good equipment and atmosphere.

Bought a weekly pass for $45 to use the facilities while on vacation. Saw the same guy behind the counter every night I was there-- Chris-- who was the nicest guy. Froggy's has two squat racks, a flat bench, incline bench, and smith machine, in addition to a bunch of dumbbells, rubber plates and bumper plates.

We did a one month membership while in Tavernier for February. Well worth it. We went about 15 times during the month so it was economical for us. Good equipment and well kept. Spinning was a bit loud for me but still had a nice time with it.

Grateful for the gym while visiting Islamoralda at a hotel that didn't have a gym. Easy to get a guest pass, everything I needed.

Would have done more stars since our membership at Froggys was great! We chose them because the people were kind and they gave my husband and I a discount for active duty military. He's recently deployed so when I tried to sign back up they said I could no longer get the discount and that when they honored it before it was a mistake. Very disappointed that they wouldn't treat the spouse of the person deployed better. So at their INSANE $80/month I will take my business elsewhere. Called Mariners Wellness and they'd be happy to honor a discount at only $56/ month.

Here in Tavernier on vacation. Stopped in to keep up with my workouts. Needed just a three day pass. They say only one day or week Pass available only. $20/day and $45/week. Ridiculous pricing. A full year at most gyms runs about $1.50 a day. How do you go from that to $20. for someone just looking to spend 45 minutes in your facility? Where is the premium? Extra wear and tear on your equipment?
How is this justified?

This is by far the cleanest, professional and the most friendly gym in the keys.. The rates might be little pricey BUT you should take in consideration that we live on an island and we pay rates of an island ( tourist prices) and that's with everything here ( food, services..)
Anyhow, I am a local and have shopped around for other gym and this place is just the best.. Love it.

I am a former local that used to frequent this gym, I was recently back in the Keys for a few months due to a family emergency. Let me say that the gym wasn't that great before and has gotten a lot worse over the last 4 years. The staff member behind the desk was unfriendly and condescending, I was being watched like I was going to walk out of the gym with their equipment, and that loud trainer I'm reading about in the reviews is a local that has been working/borderline harassing people at Froggys for years. I know a lot of locals avoid that gym specifically because of this guy, he

Great equipment - there is plenty of equipment, free weights, etc. If you're waiting on something, look on the other side of the gym as it looks like there are doubles. However a $20 a day pass is too high. No water fountains. They do offer classes.

Stopped in and grabbed a day pass. For the Keys, this place exceeded my expectations. CLEAN! Plenty of equipment, including 100+ lb. dumbells. Visited on a Wednesday afternoon, and about 15 people in the gym. Not too busy (which I like). Friendly lady up front helped me with everything. There is no water fountain in the gym, but a 23 oz. water costs a buck there. Mixed group of clients, from 20-somethings to a couple old ladies. Overall, a great gym with a nice feel. Not quite sure why I'm not giving 5 stars,.

STAY AWAY!!! Unprofessional, outdated equipment , rude owner, over priced!!! I bought a week pass for $30...ridiculous. Went to workout, quickly noticed the money that's collected there doesn't go into their equipment, rather it appears to go into the owners budget for yoga pants and yes the owner is a man! He apparently is quite invested in those yoga pants seeing as he wants people to stay off of his old machines so that he can them as long as possible. He rudely kicked me off of his extremely aged spin cycle which was in the group exercise area (which the door leading into had a note

FRIENDLY - FAIRLY PRICED - CLEAN. I was in Key Largo for Christmas vacation, and bought a week pass at Froggy's. Maybe not for CrossFitters or power lifters, but perfect for my needs.

I have traveled extensively and fitness has always been a priority. While some people need an old school "lifters" gym where it's all bar bells and free weights I appreciate a well rounded gym addressing everyone's athletic needs. Froggy's has been my home gym for 10 years. With their remodel and upgrades they are the finest gym in the Keys. The new owners care and go out of their way to make working out a positive experience.

If you want a "grunter's" steroid gym you may want to go somewhere else. If your looking to become or stay physically fit, you

Please note this review is done by a competitive powerlifter. I gave this place a 2 star rating. I feel it's a good place if you are just looking to lift on vacation without having any competitive type goal.

Equipment: bars are cheap, plates were not great and appeared to be shorter in diameter then most other gyms (appeared this way but don't know for sure), bench pad is short and thin, squat rack is an old school squat rack, dumbbells go up to only 100. Seated shoulder press is an unracking nightmare even with seat back. There is 1 bench and 1 squat rack, so be prepared to let people

If there was a 0 star option, that would be my rating. I understand Froggy's is under new ownership and we were only members for a couple of months, so maybe some of these things will be improved. The best thing I can say is that they have plenty of parking.

If you're a 14 year old boy-man or a 24 year old man-boy, this gym is probably a good fit for you. My husband and I are mid-40's professionals, and found this gym to be one of the worst we've ever been to. We work out an average of six days a week and have had gym memberships all across the country. We are very familiar
