We have been a preferred provider of medical equipment & supplies in the Greater Danbury area since 1977. Medical Home Care, Inc. is a privately owned local business where the focus is on our excellent customer service and the ongoing education of our staff. We have a fully stocked store where you can see a demonstration, touch, try, measure, or even pick up literature on a product you are interested in.
Assembled and ready to go we have a showroom packed with shower chairs, transfer tub benches, commodes, & rolling commode shower chairs. Some are padded, some are not. Some are with backs, some are with arms, & some have both. Almost all are height adjustable so it's easy to fit in your vehicle. We have raised toilet seats that sit on top of your existing toilet or some have a stabilizing bracket which we recommend for safety.
Our fitters are manufacturer and or BOC Certified fitters who receive ongoing education. We have 3 fitters on staff & hundreds of pairs of compression garments (stockings) in stock & ready to dispense. We stock Medi & Venosan compression garments to help you manage any circulatory or lymphatic issues.
Incontinence is often a side effect of other medical conditions. At Medical Home Care we understand this and have a completely stocked section in our store that offers a variety of options. We carry tabbed briefs, pull ups, male guards, and bladder control pads in multiple sizes & absorbencies, protective underpads, disposable & reusable with many size choices.
We have a comfortable private fitting room in our store where we have a variety of breast prostheses & bra's. Mastectomy fittings are by appointment only. We carry products by Amoena, Trulife, & Jodee. Our fitter has over 25 years experience, is a BOC Certified Practitioner, & is an Amoena certified Fitter.

Never again will I use this business. I bought a bath chair from them prior to surgery. Never used; when I got out of rehab it was recommended that I buy a bath transfer seat. Called to see if I could exchange the bath chair and I was told yes I could. My son took it back there and they refused to exchange saying there were water stains and it was rusted. They sold it to me in this condition but then would not except it back as an exchange. Very rude unprofessional and disgusted with this business!

Thank you Bruce, Lois,Nicole, my brother Robert is very happy with his new Lift chair! It was more costly then buying from the internet or basic furniture store, but worth it in so many ways! There is a nice warranty on it and I know that if there are any issues Bruce will be glad to do whatever he can to make it right! Give this store a chance to do right for your loved ones or yourself you won’t regret it! Today, my dad and daughter went to this place to get information about a travel wheelchair. Nicole was absolutely horrible to them. First, although they were open, their door was locked. When Nicole came to the door, rather than apologizing she literally opened the door and said, "What do you want?". When my dad explained he was looking for a wheelchair she allowed him in, and proceeded to be rude and honestly, nasty. There are plenty of places to go soend your money - I would recommend going somewhere where staff is kind. I wish we had read the other reviews before - sounds like these people have

Do not use this company. Nicole is highly incompetent, does not reply to emails in a timely manner and lacks any type of empathy. She was extremely rude and unhelpful. She went so far as to tell me that she "never goes to doctors and is healthy" so she couldn't understand my issue. My doctors office even commented that they had never had such a difficult experience with a medical supply company before. Stay away!!

Very disappointed. Rented a hospital bed until spouse's Medicare approved bed arrived. Bed broke first day and the Medicare approved one arrived the next day. I was more than happy to pay for delivery, set up (even though a piece came off the bed), and pick up, but Bruce never returned my calls about refunding the rent, or a large part of it) since it was only in place for TWO days, yet I paid for an entire month. I now need equipment to a Hoyer lift for a couple weeks but I will NOT use this company!

Excellent customer service. I had foot surgery and they were able to supply me with a kneeling walker. They showed me different models and I found one that for my needs. I was able to rent it for a month and the price was very resonable. I'd recommend this business to anyone that needs any assistive devices for at home or for other mobility needs.

I was in need of an item for my husband who had just had hip replacement surgery. I contacted RVNA and asked if they knew of a medical supply house that could accommodate our need. They made a call to Medical Home Care and spoke with Bruce who said he had the item and would be able to deliver it to our house the next day. We were at Hospital for Special Surgeries in NYC and I was bringing my husband home the next day so was unable to get to their store myself to pick the item up.
