In Chinese or Oriental medicine the goal is to restore one's ability to heal, prosper, and thrive. We are beings of both energy and matter. Having that energy and all of the associated fluids and communication systems flowing freely and unobstructed throughout one's body. Having an overall balance of the energy dynamic between the receptivity of energy and the activation of energy, also known as yin and yang.
Greg helped me fix back pains that had bothered me for years. Acupuncture + cupping really helped the pain go away. I tried everything previously, and nothing worked. I was honestly amazed when this did. I didn't believe that such small needles could have such a massive effect. Greg is very knowledgeable in Chinese medicine and anyone that has pain that needs to be cleared up, I would highly recommend his services.

Qi, pronounced "chee" and sometimes spelled "Chi" as in "Tai Chi" is the foundational energy of all life and matter. It is the fabric of our existence. In human beings it flows through channels sometimes referred to as networks or meridians. Simply put, when people talk of being in balance or in good health, they are speaking of having abundant qi, a.k.a.
Just as deficient or stagnant qi will cause physical discomfort in the body it will also cause emotional discomfort in the heart and mind. Imagine what life would be like if (instead of emotional discomfort stemming from material position or circumstance) your emotions are now the generator of energy and mover and creator of your own personal life battery and you are in control of their functioning rather than them controlling you.
Do not seek a disaster free life. As long as you are born there will be obstacles in your path, even when you are a sage. Difficulties help us walk (the path). If there are none, then pride and luxurious lifestyle will arise or entitlement, which cuts you off from walking. Master Wang was an illiterate peasant sage who believed and taught that toxic emotions and thoughts would manifest on the physical body.
The simple answer is that it is good for everything. The slightly more in depth answer is that by 'everything, ' I mean 'everything that is not an emergency.' When I started out in private practice, I often got calls from people wanting to know "can you treat ______?"
Invariably, I would answer yes, and even when what filled in the blank was something I had never treated before or even something I had never heard of before, more often than not, the individual would get better.Like Chinese herbs, acupuncture does not treat based off of a symptom or off of a Western disease diagnosis.
