Knox County Hospital District EMS provides 911 emergency and non-emergency services to all of Knox County and surrounding area. We are certified through the Texas Department of State Health Services, at a basic life support level (BLS) with mobile intensive care unit (MICU) capabilities. We operate two fully staffed ambulances that are available 24 hours a day 365 days a year.
Knox County Hospital Home Health provides home health care to the residents of Knox County and the surrounding area. There is "no place like home" and it is our mission to help patients recover from an illness or recent hospitalization in the comfort of their own home. Our Home Health staff provides professional, caring services of various levels ordered by the patient's Physician.
Knox County Hospital recently updated our entire laboratory with state of the art modern equipment, renovations were completed in 2017. Our lab provides routine and emergency diagnostic services 24 hours a day. An extensive range of diagnostic services such as hematology, serology, chemistry, special chemistry, urinalysis, immunology, microbiology and blood bank services are available.
