John Dedola founded our company in 1976. Pioneering the industry, he established one of the first companies to operate as an NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier). Mr. Dedola's extensive background in international retail gave him insight into the needs of importers and exporters. It was from this perspective that Dedola Global Logistics was born.
To the uninitiated, it might seem like a pretty simple task to move cargo from point A to point B. If it was really just a matter of putting a container on a ship and sending that ship to the destination, it might be. But the world of freight forwarding doesn't operate that way. The fact of the matter is that your container(s) may only make up a small percentage of the ship's cargo.
