When it comes to your final arrangements, shouldn't you make the decisions? The arrangements you make will reflect your exact wishes and desires. Meaningful memorialization of a loved one's passing can transform, heal, and comfort us. It highlights our loved ones' sacrifices, reminds us of the things that they value, and inspires us with their life stories. Have the Talk of a Lifetime, a program created by The Funeral and Memorial Information Council, was designed to help families have meaningful conversations about the things that matter most in their lives.
The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) furnishes upon request, at no charge to the applicant, a Government headstone or marker for the unmarked grave of any deceased eligible veteran in any cemetery around the world, regardless of their date of death. When the grave is already marked, applicants will have the option to apply for either a traditional headstone or marker, or a new device (available spring 2009).

From the first meeting with Chris two months ago to the moment my mother was lowered into her grave yesterday, we only experienced warmth and professionalism from Watson Funeral Chapel. They took a very painful and difficult situation and did their utmost to see to completion our vision of honoring my mother.
We even noticed that employee Trey was wearing one of the Hummingbird temporary tattoos that we handed out to the grandchildren to wear in loving memory of their grandmother.
It’s these little things that speak of the caliber of this establishment and the people they employ.
While nothing

I can’t say enough positive comments on how supportive and helpful Watson Funeral Home has been for our family. Even after a year and a half, Chris helped us getting my mother’s Urn from a cemetery in Saginaw and facilitated the transfer to be with my Dad at Arlington National Cemetery. He also helped us get all the requirements met so they could both be together. They are organized, compassionate and made a potentially difficult situation run very smoothly. Our family holds this funeral home in the highest regard.

Today as we arranged for the cremation and memorial service of my aunt. We had to go to Watson Funeral Home and Chapel in Jackson on Spring Arbor rd. Only because the jackson county sheriffs department had them transport my aunt there. We would never go through them because of previous problems and issues with their staff and services involving other family members. So my Aunt Tina Pepera and i went to the funeral home to have my Aunts body released to the Crematorium to be cremated. We sit down, they say their condolences to us, and leave the room.
