Jean is our indispensable front office manager. She has been with the practice for 18 years. Our patients love her warm and friendly manner. As our resident insurance expert, she helps our patients to navigate and make the most of their dental benefits. We count on her to keep us running smoothly. On the rare day when she gets a break from the office, she enjoys watching football and spending time motorcycling.

Crowns - A tooth can lose its normal shape and size for a variety of reasons. A crown covers your tooth to help restore its original shape and size.
Bridges can be removable or fixed. Removable bridges can be taken out and cleaned by patients, whereas fixed bridges have to be removed by a dentist. Bridges can be implanted to the jaw or under the gums. With so many options, it is important to consult with your dentist about which type of bridge is best for you.
We are proud to offer dental implants for our patients. Dental implants are roots placed in your mouth for either permanent teeth to be placed on or ones that you can remove. When done correctly, and with proper care, dental implants can last a patient's whole life. It is still important to brush your teeth, floss, and use mouthwash when you have implants.

Dr Vang and Dina did a wonderful job taking care of a tooth for me. I had nearly straight teeth so I never considered braces to correct the one tooth that was a little set back and crooked but that tooth always bothered me. In photos, it showed as a shadow and looked darker than my other teeth although it wasn't. Also, my teeth are showing their age and needed whitening. Dr. Vang and her team helped me with whitening and fixing that one tooth. With a veneer on the face of the tooth, it brought the tooth to a straight position. My teeth look straight now just like that! We started with whitening

My experience at Star Dental has been second to none. To begin with, Dr. Vang and all of the Star Dental team are incredibly personable, knowledgeable and professional.
It had been 3 years since my last dentist visit but I'm glad I chose Star. Dr. Vang walked me through abolsutely everything and broke it down in terms I was able to understand. They were able to get me in for 3 appointments in 5 days; an xray, a cleaning, and a repair.
I would highly recommend anybody to Star Dental care, whether you're looking for a new dentist, or it's been a while, you will be absolutely pleased with Star!
