A typical trim removes branches that are unexposed to sunlight (natural die-back), branches that cross and rub against each other, and branches that do not conform to the general shape of the tree. Branches that are close to power lines or phone lines and branches that rub against roof tops are removed to prevent property damage and possible injuries.
I am sure that you are not told enough how great your crew is. I was getting ready to leave and when I went to start my car the battery was dead. When I asked someone on your crew if they had jumper cables, in hopes of jumping my car, he went and checked. That did not work out but then I remembered my husband has a battery charger, which your crew member hooked up for me.
This is one of the largest Sequoia tree we've seen. We were called to trim and clean up the tree of major dead wood and damage that occurred after a wind storm. Drilling a large old maple tree that needed some extra support because of some internal decay. Using five foot steel rods that are inserted through the center portion of the tree trunk and tightened down with large washers and end nuts.
