I began my career as a technical writer and project manager for Digital Equipment Corporation where I wrote technical training and reference documentation for the OpenVMS operating system and Windows NT applications. I went on to manage software development and documentation projects for clients such as Compaq, HP, American Express, 3M, the Federal Reserve Bank, and USBank.
