Our story is like that of many other families searching for the American Dream and a better future for our family. Our Southwest Florida dream started in 1977 when we traveled here for a beach vacation in October. That feeling of sinking our toes in the sand for the first time was such an awesome experience that we knew right then and there we wanted to make this our new home and keep that feeling with us forever!
We traveled back to Mt. Washington, Kentucky and sold our Florist business of five years in order to return to the beach in February of 1978. We started like so many others juggling everything and not really knowing what tomorrow would bring but we had faith and we were not afraid of hard work. We opened up our flower shop on Fort Myers Beach - "Beach Flowers" and started cleaning carpets on the side.

I called Spalding on the recommendation of three neighbors and a carpet merchant. The results were amazing. I can honestly say it was the best carpet cleaning I have ever experienced.
Two months after the carpet cleaning, I asked Spalding to come back and clean the tile and grout throughout my home. They did an outstanding job!! Looks like new! They did a much better job than other professional companies have done at my neighbors homes.
