Services
Blackhawk Transport was founded in 1990 with one R model Mack and three Raven flat bed trailers. Today, we run a mix of company trucks and Owner/Operator trucks. Our fleet is comprised of Vans, Flatbeds and Conestogas available throughout the US and Canada. Blackhawk trucks are satellite dispatched and tracked, which enables us to provide the highest level of service to our drivers and customers.
Service Sensitive Longhaul (Premium Service and Rates, that allow Brokerage for Blackhawk). Data Collection (Review of Customers Inbound and Outbound Shipments, as well as Yard Management needs). Fleet Optimization (Determines Resources Needed, as well as all Assumptions on Miles and Utilities). Contract Considerations (Outline of Operating Parameters, Service and Reporting Requirements, Equipment Schedules, etc.).

So about two months I was going to work for this company but then things changed for me for another company. That company didn’t work out for me. I wanted to get into pods cause I love doing pods, now all of a sudden I go to reapply for them and they don’t want to hire me cause of my location, how is it when I did pods for CR england they got me home no problem but this company can’t do that. Not to mention the fact the poor communication coming from them. No response from a company eiether. I’ll take this comment down when they decide to hire me.

Been a driver for a few years and out of all the places I've worked this is the best thus far, I have zero complaints about them. I'm OTR transporting PODS and it's so easy it's almost ridiculous. Top it off with me setting my own eta, no driver manager telling me when to be there it's up to me though best not over do it. They even help me get places I'd want to go easier then most places do. The start pay is good, benefits are good but it's just me so no idea on family plans, and I got my cat with me so I'm pretty happy where I'm at.

The shop in Beloit has been great! Every one of them has a great attitude and fix my truck like they are my pit crew. I’m back on the road with all my questions answered fast. Miguel has fixed my truck in the parking lot because it was a small need. I can’t say enough good about them.

Worked here for 2 years now as the safety manager. I was offered a position by chance and I am glad I was. I was told to check out the culture and see if it is a place I wanted to work. I was at the annual truck roadeo and I started talking to the drivers since they will tell you how things really are. All of them had great things to say about the company. I chatted with the other managers present and made the decision. I sold my own business to come and work for Blackhawk and that should tell you everything you need to know. My drivers are the best in the industry and so is out management team

I'm a pods driver and been employed since June 11th 2021. My dispatcher is Leah and she is fantastic! Everyone is super helpful and supportive! I even was able to speak to the VP and he was overwhelmingly amazing and friendly. Everything they say, they do. Need repairs? Done. Need miles to pay your bills? Say no more! You don't feel safe? No worries! Something happens to your truck? First thing asked is "are YOU ok?" Not "is the load going to be on time" or "is the truck ok?" They care about you! They greet you with your name not asking for truck number. Come here with peace of mind and comfort

I'm an account manager at Blackhawk and after moving away from one of the larger Fortune 500 Logistics companies to Blackhawk, the difference is night and day. Although I haven't been here for very long, I feel appreciated, I don't feel like a number, My CEO and VP address me by name, and the teamwork amongst accounts is there, FULL THROTTLE! I can tell amongst all the people I've talked to and the interactions I see day to day that we all work together so we can work for our drivers. I'm happy to work for a company that allows me to do whatever it takes to take care of my team.
