My grandfather, John W. Haggard, started Haggard's Furniture in Oklahoma City in 1916. My father, J. Earle Haggard Sr., and his brother, Jack, joined their father in the early 1930s, beginning a diversified history in the furniture business. They manufactured upholstery and case goods "jobbing" their products, under the name of "Sell Right."
The Haggard name was associated with wholesale, retail, and new and used furniture. We eventually expanded to 10 Haggard's stores in and around Oklahoma City. As Oklahoma City changed, so did Haggard's. My father and I continued the family tradition, changed our name to Haggard's Fine Furniture and relocated to 2418 N. May in the late 1960s.

About the only store in town where you will find excellent quality American made furniture. Pricey compared to the stores on Reno, but you get what you pay for. No delivery charge if you live in a certain radius from the store. If you want high quality furniture that will last, Haggard's is the place to go.

Great place to buy furniture!
Our sofa was the highest of quality! We have heavy traffic and it is so comfortable that we decided to order another. The sales ladies are so helpful and knowledgable it makes for a great experience!
I would say it is the best place to buy furniture in the whole metro area.

My wife and I have been looking for new furniture for a while now with very little success until we came here. They were very polite and informative without being that over-bearing furniture salesmen we all despise having to deal with. They were there if we had a question, but let us actually sit and relax in something we hoped to own for the next several years instead of pressuring us to buy right then. They even told us they had a sale coming up and to wait until then (which we plan to do). An added bonus is that everything (even down to the pillows) could be customized to your liking since it
