Steve Ardan, owner, has been in the auto body repair industry since he was 15 years old. Steve started in his gramp's garage and now continues the family owned business near Manhattan, just off Route 52. Steve, his wife Mary Ann, and his daughter Kelly have been servicing the Manhattan, Joliet, and surrounding communities for more than 20 years. We invite you to stop by and take a tour of our shop. Do not let the insurance company tell you where to have your vehicle estimated or repaired.
Services
During regular business hours, no there is no need for an appointment. It is best to call ahead though, so we can insure that we can direct all our attention to making you our top priority. If you need an estimate outside of those hours, just call and we can accommodate you. Do I need to take my vehicle to one of the insurance company's preferred shops for an estimate?
If you are told by an insurance company that a collision repair shop is not on "their list", you can be assured that shop has your best interest in mind. To be on "the list" a shop needs to sign a contract with the insurance company to repair the vehicle as the insurance company dictates. Insurance companies demand discounted labor rates, parts discounts, and that the shop installs aftermarket, Taiwan, and junk yard parts on your vehicle.
As an autobody shop, we preform many different types of repairs. Feel free to contact us if you are in need of something that does not appear in our services below. All safety equipment that needs to be replaced in a vehicle is done so with NEW ORIGINAL MANUFACTURER PARTS. We do not use used or aftermarket parts on items of such importance.

I called on a Thursday and set up a small job on a hood I needed painted. Steve the owner sound interested and told me to call on Friday and to stop in to see the paint sample. I called on Friday, Steve told me not to come in because he didn’t have the paint sample done. He also mentioned he would call on Monday. Monday came and I didn’t hear from him so I called. His daughter answered the phone, and told me Steve wasn’t in and still did not have the paint sample. The only problem with what his daughter was telling me was Steve was in the background talking to her. A true waste of 6 days
