Your child is about six months old, and you are worried because none of his teeth have erupted yet. You wonder if there is something wrong. Not to worry; most likely there is nothing wrong. Tooth eruption stages for kids are different, just like growth and development of children in general. Tooth eruption can be delayed; just as children can be a bit delayed in their growth.
A frenum is an attachment of muscle and there are two in the mouth. One frenum attaches the inside of the upper lip to the gums between the upper front teeth. If this frenum is attached too low down on the gums, it can force the two front teeth apart, creating a gap. Sometimes the gap will close when the permanent teeth come in, or be treated with braces.

After some very unpleasant experiences I had with a Bangor children dentistry in Maine I decided to google and look for a pediatric dentist somewhere else. After reading the reviews from children dental center in New Hampshire I decided I wanted to take my child there. My child needs a lot of dental work done. It was nice to have a doctor who didn’t make you feel like your neglecting your child teeth. I explained what was going on with her teeth and that I just didn’t understand why they were continuing decaying. After ever meal I’m that mom saying.. “Brush your teeth” it got to the point

The dentist was not afraid to handle my medically complex and difficult child. I have tried to get his teeth cleaned 4 times with other dental offices, and this was the first time we had success. The staff was so friendly and kind. I am so grateful to them and am now optimistic about the future if my son's mouth!
