Our long history of service to the Danville-Pittsylvania County area dates back to 1918. Our award winning facilities provide both short and long-term skilled nursing care, and specialized rehabilitative services. Roman Eagle is committed to excellence and provides our area residents needed, innovative services of the highest quality.

The Virginia Health Care Association awarded Roman Eagle with third place in the Special Program Category for its "Compassion for our Community" Project Lifesaver Program. Roman Eagle has been chosen as One of the Best Nursing Homes in Virginia for 2015 by U.S. News and World Report.

With 312 beds, Roman Eagle is one of largest long-term care facilities in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
The Rehab Center, a state-of-the art 54,000 square feet facility, consists of 50 private rooms. Roman Eagle's Rehabilitation & Wellness Center features the latest therapy and exercise equipment, an aquatic therapy pool, a cafe featuring design elements from the community, and a transitional unit simulating a home setting for retraining.

Hilltop Gardens is a 41-unit, not-for-profit, independent living apartment complex located on property adjacent to Roman Eagle Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. While a separate entity, sponsorship of Hilltop Gardens is consistent with Roman Eagle's long range plans to meet the needs of the community.
