I've been here twice. The first time I came here with my wife, little brother, and sister- in-law. We all ordered a steak dish. I ordered the T Bone Steak med rare. It came out more like medium. It was still juicy and satisfying, but I would've enjoy it even more if it was cooked to order. I did have to salt it a little and they didn't have A1 sauce. I put a little hot sauce on it for an extra kick. It did pair well with a Modelo - cleaner finish than a Corona.
The second time my wife and I came. We ordered margaritas. My wife enjoys El Jimador tequila, which they didn't have. It was a bit disappointing

Another great meal at El Tapatio. I've moved away from the area, but I always try to visit this great restaurant when I'm around. The Grilled shrimp quesadilla is my favourite. The margaritas are really good and the staff are very friendly. Our waitress yesterday was very patient and nice. I can't wait to go back.

Ordered takeout. Complete order was wrong. Person on phone (Carlos) was very unhelpful and questioned everything. Finally said he would issue refund which he lied about and no refund was ever given. Bunch of unhonest crooks. Food wasn't even good and the quesodila looked like it was dipped in water it was so soggy with grease.

I have never had a bad meal from this place. It’s always fast, fresh and so good. They had daily bar specials. Delicious chips and salsa. Parking isn’t bad. They do have outdoor seating which is nice. Fresh guacamole made table side. That have a separate bar side as well. Never disappointed. Highly recommended.

Incredibly great value for money if you go for lunch (lunch specials on Saturday, too) the portions are sizeable, the Mexican rice has good flavor and the tortilla chips are warm. The veracruz had an impressive amount of shrimp and is a great option if you don't want food swimming in cheese and the taco salad a hefty portion of meat (not suggested you want a light salad).
You cab also get tacos a la carte for $2 or $3 each, so if you do go for dinner but don't want a mountain of food, you can get 3 tacos for under $10.
