Our fine reputation stems from the compassionate care provided by the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity since 1943. From that beginning, we have grown exponentially in all aspects of our operations. We have new and ever-growing facilities and programs to meet the increased demands of the older adult.

Here at McCormick Assisted Living our goal is to enrich the lives of our residents. The life enrichment staff and volunteers strive to offer a variety of activities and events and to encourage everyone to participate. Our YMCA run exercise program is very popular, as well as our raised vegetable gardens, beautiful patios, trips to local attractions and restaurants, and 2-3 musical groups weekly.

When you choose McCormick, you become part of our community and a neighbor.
We are so proud of our full-size Chapel. Built in 1968, it has breath-taking stained glass, open beamed ceilings, and beautiful brick masonry that will leave you in a spiritual state of well being. Though we are a Catholic assisted living center, we are open to all forms of religious beliefs and will support all of those beliefs, as well.
As part of the agreement, all current McCormick residents and staff were retained, as was the name of the facility. St. Paul Elder Services plans a multi-million dollar renovation to the McCormick facilities, including re-designing the dining spaces, adding showers to resident rooms, and installing a new nurse call system, in addition to providing the entire campus an overall facelift.
