As we are excited to assist you, unfortunately at this time we are not accepting any new clients. I specialize in helping people who have been victims of trauma (sexual, emotional or physical abuse; assault; harassment, as well as traumatic injuries, illnesses or accidents) whether as a child or in adulthood.

Maria is an amazing person and counselor! She’s down to earth, understanding, and she really cares. She helps you to understand yourself, and helps work through any issues you may be struggling with, and provides you with knowledge/tools to do so.. I immediately clicked with her the first time I met her. Also, her new Palos Heights office is fresh, warm, and welcoming! I’ll never go anywhere else.

I last updated this recommendation a year ago, and I still go to Maria on a frequent basis 4 years later. She's professional, insightful, honest and cares so much about her time with me. She has helped me learn so much about myself, my relationships and life in so many ways. I am so grateful to have her services and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a counselor.
Additionally, her new office in Palos Heights is BEAUTIFUL, welcoming and well kept. If you're looking for coziness, she offers tea and coffee and snacks -- doesn't get much better than that!

I have been going to Maria for counseling services for over a year now. I've recommended her to friends and family because I am truly satisfied with her services. She is down to earth, provides great techniques and advise to improve your quality of life. She is punctual. She doesn't take time from your session to talk about insurance as others counselors do. She usually will take 5 extra minutes after your visit. She recently moved to the 79th location and her offices are beautifully decorated. You feel calm just walking in. I love the assortment of teas she provides and I've made it my routine
