The greatest reward as a mental health therapist is helping people explore ways to make changes in their lives that will allow them to look forward to the future and stop looking in the rear-view mirror. I try to create an environment where a person can let their guard down. This is not a clinical, stuffy environment and I am not known for my polished, poised nature.

Services
Individual therapy is a joint effort through where we work one-on-one in a safe, judgment free, and confidential environment. Identifying pieces of their lives that they would like to change, better understand themselves and/or others, and work toward the desired changes. The overall goal of therapy is to increase one's sense of well-being.
I have worked as a therapist in just about every type of setting from in-patient, substance abuse, military/deployments, reintegration both military and incarcerations, state/social services and now private practice. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches to design a unique treatment plan for each individual client.
Is it really a choice to get a divorce? Its been my experience that when you come to this point in your life its no longer a choice. A divorce can easily be one of the most emotional and overwhelming times in a person's life. A divorce affects more than just the husband and wife- divorces can create a negative ripple effect on every member of the family.
I accept many health insurances, cash, check and all major credit cards for payment. I am transparent about hourly rates but I do offer a sliding scale, finances should never come in the way of treatment. Payment due at time of service. Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan, "Out- of- network" benefits may be utilized.
