We are a unique company that has grown from an individual signing agent to a national signing service agency. This growth has been fueled by our understanding that Title Companies and Lending Institutions face enormous pressure in performing their functions. The settlement industry is becoming more and more complex with greater scrutiny and regulation.
Before, SSA assigns a signing, we screen all its agents for background history, industry knowledge, E&O insurance, and industry certifications/notary commission. SSA has a quality control system built into every step of the process including full, timely review of all documents throughout the entire process.
He is passionate about creating company policies and procedures that help increase staff knowledge and skills, agent's accountability and 110% client satisfaction. When Phillip isn't leading SSA you can find him either doing a CrossFit workout, Scuba Diving or enjoying quality time with family and friends.
Briana Awtrey is a 1st Shift Team Lead at Signing Services of America (SSA) who loves working with our clients to provide prompt and knowledgeable assistance while also leading her team through the process of loan scheduling. She is passionate about giving our clients a truly great and memorable experience whenever they work with SSA.
Phillip Thomas Hogan, II is the 2nd Shift Team Lead at Signing Services of America who loves helping our clients and signing agents with signings. He is passionate about learning to improve his skills as a team leader, also increasing his knowledge of the signing service business. When Phillip isn't assisting staff, clients and signing agents you can find him attending church, learning about Forex, and implementing his investment ideas.

I’ve been working for SSA for over a year now and have nothing but positive things to say. I searched for a job where the boss is able to lead (not dictate) and I believe I have found that at SSA. The staff is friendly, collaborative, and dedicated in terms of getting work done. The notion of openness is welcomed regarding ideas, teamwork, and overall company improvement. Working at Signing Services of America has been great! Phillip Hogan (owner) is accessible and interested in not only the needs of the company, but also the needs and interest of his employees. When I started a little over a year ago, I knew nothing about this industry. There is a hands on approach to engaging and training staff. This has been extremely useful in interacting with our clients and agents. Horrible company! I called them regarding a refinance I would be notarizing for them. When they answered the phone I could hear in the background "Just forward all the calls to voicemail." *CLICK*... I tried to call again and there was no answer and the voicemail wasn't an option the phone continued ringing. I then got a call from a man (not sure his name) and he asked "What do you need". I called regarding a signing that I was scheduled for to print 428 pages and upload scanbacks! There's no way I was going to do all that for $75 or even $90 let alone. I told him I was greatly considering dropping

I did over 200 closings for Signing Services Of America (SSA)…It’s the A1 TEAM…I do signings on other portals and other Signing Services…SSA Team is very professional, timely, helpful, from the CEO Mr Phil, Ashley, Lauren to name a few. They are available whenever needed…Never had an issue with scheduling or payments.
As a seasoned Signing agent, I know its the lender and title companies, who have/should to provide the documents in a timely manner. AND its not the Signing Service - SSA. SSA is above the league in the mortgage closing industry.
