Walsh Moving & Storage is a full service moving company that has been family owned and operated out of the same building in Torrance since 1964. Dick & Patricia Walsh started Walsh Moving with one truck and a small crew in 1964. Since then, Walsh has been serving Torrance and the surrounding cities. Dick & Patricia Walsh and sons operated Walsh Moving until they retired in 1996, passing the company to her nephews Thomas & Harry.
Pat continued to help in the office with the bookkeeping. Thomas & Harry exceeded Pat's expectations continuing the Walsh name. Walsh Moving dramatically expanded the company by expanding local operations and adding Long Distance moving, then in 1998, purchased a warehouse in Long Beach and began serving the cities of Long Beach and the surrounding area.

The actual moving service was good, but the price is outrageous. The customer service support was unfriendly. I called to ask about extra hours from Molly and was quoted a wrong rate and poor customer service. When the service was completed, I was shock to see the final bill amount. I called to confirm the price, Molly wasn’t there, a man replied with care less attitude when I told him the rate that was quoted by Molly. As I mentioned earlier, this rating is for the price and phone customer support. The two movers worked really hard (Larry & his buddy)

Moving and choosing a company to facilitate the move can be challenging. But Walsh made it easy. They gave us a fair price, offered a discount for cash, showed up on time and delivered in every way. Their men were amazing.
Ritchie, Joe, Alvin, Sergio, Nick and Larry did an incredible job of ensuring all our belongings, including antiques and lots of glass items were loaded and unloaded safely without any breakage or losses. They delivered two trucks to our new desert home in over 108 degree temperatures and insisted on doing it all to ensure I only watched and instructed where things go. At 75
