Hallandale Alternative Medical Center
Chinese medicine is a form of healing which has been practiced worldwide more than five thousand years. Recently, it has gained increasing acceptance in the United States as more people have been benefited from it. Chinese medicine is used to ease pain and treat ailments. Centuries of experience and wisdom have evolved into natural, pain-free treatment.

There are two primary components of Oriental (Chinese) medicine: Acupuncture and Herbal medicine. This technique of treatment involves the insertion of very fine needles into the skin to stimulate specific areas of the body. Considered the original holistic medicine, it has been in use for more than 5,000 years and is performed in conjunction with Chinese herbal medicine and medical massage.

I needed urgent pills for my migraine, and called the store just as they were closing. Dr Christine said she would wait for me, even though she had an appointment. I appreciate her extending kindness and the proper herbs, even though she has never met me before. Displaying compassion speaks volume about this business owner. I will definitely return for acupuncture and herbal pills. Thank you!

This lady can spent 5 minutes to listen to your organ functions from your wrist and tell you your symptoms, without you telling her anything or looking at blood work. She is the best I've found with herbs to help illnesses, even chronic. I strongly recommend for herbs. Accupuncture no, she's too heavy handed.

She is the top doctor in Chinese medicine, very knowledgeable and professional. I had few issue with my sinus congestion, after I went for two treatments and it was taken care of. As a native Chinese, I wouldn't go to anyone else for acupuncture. If you want to have the right treatment and feel great, Dr Christine is the right doctor to go to.

Dr Yu is very knowledgeable and caring, I have been using traditional Chinese medicine for over 30 years.
The beauty of herbal treatments is that there are not side effects which can not be said with modern medicine. However in some cases combining both can only have a positive outcome.
Having an Accuponctur session does not necessarily means being not well, just a maintenance of energy flow, the same as unclogging and regulating a plumbing pressure system.
Looking forward to my next session.

Dr Christine Yu is the best, I've been there with all kinds of problems, and she solved every one of them with acupuncture. I mean, from carpal tunnel to vertigo, everything. I go there to a couple of sessions, and I always get better. She is sweet and very knowledgeable. I trust her and recommend to all of my friends.

If any South Florida TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) store has the infamous "Elixir of Life" secreted away being sold to the highest bidder incognito, its this place.

Operated by a husband and wife team Choi Chi Lam offers acupuncture (only the wife does acupuncture) as well as loose and manufactured Chinese herbal medicine. http://bit.ly/1Lg8F5d http://bit.ly/1Lg8GpS

Though I've never had acupuncture treatment from Dr. Christine Yu she's no floozy. Dr. Yu is a Florida Licensed and National Board Certified Acupuncture Physician. She also graduated with a M.D. degree from
