1 COLOR IS IN BOWL - When ready to color hair add developer to color slowly while you mix. It should be the consistency of pudding. There is extra developer in your bottle just in case your hair is thick. MUST USE THE COLOR WITH DEVELOPER IMMEDIATELY ONCE IT IS ACTIVATED (mixed together) IT WILL STAY ACTIVE FOR 1 HOUR.

After going in for an all over dye my hair was made a much darker color than when I went in (instead of the red) I was looking for. To account for this, highlights were put in to a achieve the desired results. I had previously mentioned lightening the hair (it was already a brown) prior to adding the red. The stylist said it wasn't necessary. My hair turned an almost black except for the roots. it was suggested i stand in the sun to see the color. at the end the desiredresult was close to being achieved with highlights BUT being charged 200+ dollars was excessive, I feel. I would've been okay paying
