Comfort, clean rooms and a friendly staff are what you'll experience when you stay at the Mesa View Inn. The hotel is located in the town of Iraan, Texas which is where State Highway 349 and U.S. Highway 190 come together at. Our hotel has a sparkling swimming pool to cool off in during those hot and dry Texas days. We also provide a complimentary breakfeast to enjoy early in the morning. In addition, there's a laundry room for our guests as well as free wifi and we're a pet friendly hotel.

The ladies that run and operate this hotel where phenomenal! The room was clean and comfortable. I was able to adjust the thermostat to my liking. Everyone here was kind and courteous. The only negative was there was not a phone in the room. I really needed a phone, my cell phone had zero service (metro). BUT...
the staff was kind enough to allow me to use theirs. Other than that very small inconvenience everything else was exceptional. Also, have to make a note...there is no breakfast served due to covid. But there is an awesome donut shop a block away with decent coffee and tasty kolaches!

Stains!! Stains all over the sheets, top blankets, curtains, recliner chair, and the carpet. There was an overwhelming smell of human pee when you walked in. We asked the lady up front for a new room thinking maybe they gave us a room that hadn't been cleaned yet by mistake, but the second room was even worse!! We had her look at the bed stains herself so she wouldn't think we were being over dramatic. She then gave us a third option for the room and it also had huge wet looking stains on the bed. At this point we asked for a refund because those rooms looked like they have never been

This hotel was actually really nice considering the town has limited options. It was really clean inside. You could smell the cleanliness upon entering. The room was kinda dark but comfortable. The furniture is outdated. The bed wasn't the softest either but it worked for one night. Water pressure in the shower was a plus and they had a complimentary mini fridge and microwave. Overall this hotel was decent and I would definitely stay here again. It was pet friendly.

After a day of traveling, we found the Mesa Inn very comfortable and kindly accommodating. Rolling into town, we were tired & starving. As luck would have it, we had car trouble, then our pup startled a skunk - who sprayed him! Yolanda & her co-workers were so very kind in helping us attend to all our needs. It is with pure gratitude that the Mesa Inn and staff receives 5 stars!

Best place in Iraan. Low Key and They don't bother you. Also you won't bother them as no one is ever around. So don't lose your key. And if you like Hot showers, this isn't the place for you. Luke warm at BEST no matter what part of the day. Make sure you turn the heater on before you shower, will will need to lay in bed to warm back up. Pro tip

WORST MOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER. STAY AT TRAIL WEST LODGE, AT LEAST THEY WILL ANSWER THE PHONE.
Let me start by saying I've helped the owner of here once when he needed someone to pick up and install a washer for him, which I did. I have friends and family that have also stepped in to help him manage it when people from the town fell through.
I made reservations around 12:07 p.m. on Friday... The lady I spoke to was very nice, but repeatedly said she didn't know how to work a computer well and was having trouble putting in my information and payment info. She then said, can you just pay later? I

I gave this 2 stars. Rooms were decent and clean. It states in their website that it is a pet friendly hotel. I chose this hotel due to the fact that I am traveling across country with my pets when my car broke down. I received a phone call while waiting for my dinner stating they do not accept pets, only service animals. But they have a pet relief area and other people were walking their pets in. Disappointed in this whole town. They only take care of their own when they should be showing visitors why this is such a great town

Small-town extortion practices for a hotel in the middle of nowhere. A single room will cost close to $100.
Plan your trip better so you arrive further down I-10 with more options. If you get too tired to keep driving and need to find the nearest hotel, then you're SOL because there's few options in the area.
I don't care about any amenities for a hotel in freaking Iraan, Texas - all I want to do is lay down, fall asleep, and then get the hell away from this part of the state.
One extra star added because they offer real DirectTV in the rooms, instead of some crappy hotel cable

We got caught in a winter storm while traveling on I10 and decided to find a hotel on our route. Everything was booked so we were happy to find rooms available here. Not knowing what to expect, we made the 15 mile trek from the highway to Iraan.
When we got there we found the staff to be very friendly (even offering a discount to those of us caught in the storm) and the hotel to be nice, clean, and WARM (very important). Our rooms were very nice and even had a microwave and fridge. The microwave was important as it allowed us to have a hot meal in the room with food we had in the car. As the

I loved it. It was the silver lining in my cloud. I was on my way from San Antonio to visit my friend in Midland and I got a leak in my tire so I ran into this place. It's a town of 1500 but you really wouldn't have guessed it because it provided everything that a nice city hotel brings to the table. They do charge 10 cents a minute to use the phone in the room but you can use the one in the lobby for free :) The continental breakfast was pretty sweet all bacon-fatty-country-goodness. The folks running this place were so sweet! I could NOT believe how nice they are. I don't think
