Excellent excellent place to get your car repaired. First they are HONEST. You never have to question their integrity. Secondly, pricing is so far. Measure them against a dealer's cost for repairs and you'll know what I mean. I highly recommend them which explains why they are so busy. Also Steve is great.

My car has been out of commission for about a month , money is tight and it's been a difficult time trying to figure out what was wrong with my car . Tried to do what I could on a budget a small budget and ended up needing more help . Always honest! Doesn't try to push or sell anything on you like Midas or other places do. They'll tell you if you honestly do or don't need something and then leave it all up to you for decisions. I always go to them over anything car related! Very kind and polite too!! Would give 6 stars if I could

I was having some issues with the transmission on a used Honda Odyssey that I had recently purchased. I took it to a chain repair shop in Gahanna, where I live, and they showed me a sheet with several codes that were wrong with my car and an estimate of $1,100. I took my car to Chet's for a second opinion. Even though they do not do heavy… transmission work they said that they would take a look at it for me. They fixed it for $108. I had never gone to Chet's before because they are located in potassium which is about 25 mi from my house with several of my friends recommended them and now

I live in New Albany but have no problems driving out to pataskala to go to Chets auto repair shop. Twice I have been in a bind with car issues and both times, they fixed my car in a timely quick manner & did a great job! The staff is pleasant & knowledgeable of car issues and what may or may not happen, which helps them give you a pretty adequate quote on the cost of for repairs. Speaking of which, Chets has great pricing & are pretty hard to beat. Great staff, quality work, great prices easily a 10/10 would recommend

I have very little knowledge of cars, and have had many experiences with mechanics taking advantage of that. I’m new to Pataskala and my car was making a horrible noise. Steve made time to look at my car when they were very busy and he certainly (reasonably) could have turned me away. When I took it in for the repair, Steve went above and beyond… identifying a tricky issue. He spent extra time and care making sure my car was fixed completely and safe to drive. Chet's was recommended to me by a neighbour when I first moved to Pataskala in 2008. Since then, they have been my "go to" for EVERHTING from oil changes to accident repair work. It was an unfortunately expensive repair job and there were alot of issues trying to find the right parts. Steve did not settle for anything less than getting it done right, even when it meant re-doing the labor at his own expense. I couldn't ask for better service than that. 3rd experience with this shop and happy with all of them.

We recently moved to Pataskala and when we had any issues, usually took our vehicles to a dealer. I had two cars that needed immediate service; a newer car that needed the power window fixed and a classic car with concerning suspension issues. I knew if I took the one car to the dealer the repair was going to run me $500+ and I was figuring the classic car issues were going to run me $500+ so I was prepared to drop a grand on repairs (ugh). My neighbor told me to take my cars to Chet's and I wouldn't be sorry, so I did. Steve was polite, professional and understands the sense of urgency
