Maryland BioDetection's primary focus is to provide indoor air quality inspection, measurement, sampling and testing services. Maryland BioDetection is also available to perform additional microbiological and fungal based consulting not listed.
We are certified technicians who are trained and insured to perform investigations and testing, to provide our clients with thorough inspections and reporting necessary to meet the criteria for a safe indoor environment.Our certified technicians performs each inspection personally and will provide accurate, easy to understand reports in a timely fashion.

Maryland BioDetection uses laboratories that create reports that will provide the identification of mold and bacteria present in the sample. In addition, the report will document the actual spore and coliform count that determine the level of fungal and microbial contamination present in the sample taken from a sampling location.
Keith Oltman obtained his bachelor of science in Microbiology from Towson University. Mr. Oltman's independent senior study focus while at Towson University was on Mycology, the study of fungi. Mr. Oltman also has completed certified microbial investigator training from Indoor Air Sciences, Inc.
Mr. Oltman has worked in the microbiology and biotechnology field since graduating from Towson University in clinical, pre-clinical and commercial drug development and manufacturing, supply chain management, sales and marketing and, of course, Microbial detection.
