NorvaNivel is out to transform the world of educational spaces. Relentlessly exploring new ways to design learner-centered spaces where not one, but every child is engaged. One of our most versatile GENGA collections yet, with a range of pieces whose uses are as unlimited as a student's imagination.
A creative collaborative collection of tables and seating for classrooms, STEAM, and more. This collection can adapt for quiet reading and learning activities to small group collaboration zones. Irena Barker of British Planning Learning Spaces Magazine meets designers Avron and Jolene Levin to find out how their furniture tunes into learners' needs.

Services
In 2010, the NorvaNivel team visited its first school. During this visit our creative director had the privilege of listening to the principal speak of a radical shift in learning. Shifting globally from the industrialised era to the digital era, the learning activities and outcomes were changing rapidly.
Classroom spaces today are flexible enough to facilitate all learners and learning activities. The modern classroom has changed from years gone by as we equip our learners with digital literacy skills and hands on learning opportunities. A 21st century education consists of collaborative learning through discussion and brainstorming with teacher facilitated instruction.
The days of a teacher lecturing at the front of the room for hours a day are over. Society demands more lessons facilitated by the educator, then handing over the reins to the students. Our designs are perfect for this concept. These spaces can be imagined in anyway, including both free form furniture options as modular seating and table configurations to suit the learning activity.
Collaborative learning spaces encourage both peer to peer learning and brainstorming as well as teacher facilitated learning. Rows of tiny desks all facing the same way does not allow for a 21st century learning experience. Collaborative learning spaces by nature should be extremely flexible and agile, allowing for movement and integration of technology.
These spaces are radically changing as technology and collaborative learning are becoming the essence of education moving forward. The range of activities that can be facilitated in libraries and shared learning spaces are unique to each school and space. They can allow for collaborative learning to quiet and reflective learning.
