Our clients come from Glen Cove, Sea Cliff, Oyster Bay, the Brookvilles, Muttontown and Glen Head; however, we have so many multi-generational clients - including some fourth generation clients - that we draw from Manhattan and people traveling from all over who come back to visit family.

I finally got the courage to have my hair cut. I moved to this neighborhood around March right before the COVID outbreak. So, it is a long overdue visit. The staff were very nice. Most importantly, they are people respect the public's goods and science. They got COVID test, kept the place neat and organized and not crowded. Yes, ideally I do want the hair dresser take a little bit longer to trim my hair and make it fancier all that. But realistically, I just want to have a quick and simple cut. So, no complain. Definitely will visit them again during my stay at Glen Cove.

Today, I became a first-time customer, and, most likely, will continue to come here in future time. I've gone to so many hair salons to and fro, and, usually, it's a shot-in-the-dark in terms of how a stylist is able to treat my hair.
Sometimes, a stylist rushes with my hair and doesn't put any TLC (tender, loving, care) whilst others might put too much heat. I've had instances where a stylist will rudely say "oh, this and that is wrong with your hair" or "you need to put X and Y in your hair." That's not the case here!

I am from out of town and tried this salon based on reviews. Great experience -- Rosie actually listened (not as common as you'd think for hair stylists!) and was very professional and competent. She also was polite and didn't complain about my hair like some other hair stylists have done at different salons in the past. I definitely plan to return when I am back in town!

I blindly booked an appointment to have an my hair done for my son's wedding at Hair Above. I am from out of own, so no time to try different stylists, etc. I couldn't have been happier with Flo the stylist. She did an outstanding job, with little direction. I would highly recommend her & the venue. Thanks Flo. My hair was stunning & a hit at the wedding!!
