I would not recommend based on my experience.
Enough said. Shouldn't be complicated to estimate a job accurately (to trim down trees )and get it done AS planned.
Point is not to come up with a rough estimate and leave with a rough idea of what needs to be done.
Professionals and customers should be on the same page.
Your job, SIR, is to have EVERYTHING in writing very Accurately to avoid misunderstandings and confusion.

Schmiede Tree Service provided a very prompt response to a quote request, as well as a very competitively priced estimate. I was very impressed with the expert pruning of our large oak tree which was accomplished by hand up to the ~100 foot top of the tree (bucket could not access the tree). The yard was fully cleaned at the conclusion of the pruning, which was not the case when I used a different tree service in the past. I definitely recommend Schmiede! M. Hirtler Westfield, NJ

We have had great service from Mr. Schmiede and Schmiede Tree Service. We had a large Norway Maple, larger than our house that needed removal. He helped us keep it going for the past 20 years with regular feeding and judicial pruning but it's time had come. His crew was able to deftly remove the entire tree with very little room to maneuver and his price was reasonable. Our experience with him over the course of many years has been that he has been prompt, knowledgeable and dependable. His crew has always provided us with thorough, high quality work and we have been very pleased with their services

I was a customer of Schmiede for 40 years. Last week I sent them an email requesting a quote to take down a maple tree 60 feet high and trim a plum tree. I called them and they didn't seem interested, but they said they would be by to give me a quote. They never called me or came by. I contacted Loyality Tree removal in Roselle. Good work, very reasonable price

Martin Schmiede is a dishonest crook who does not follow through and finish the work they promise to do. They start the job, harass you for full payment, and then once you pay, you never hear from them again despite calling them many, many times.
Their prices are outrageous as well. I should have withheld 50% of payment until the job was complete.
Their workers are actually good people and competent when they show up, it's the owners that lack integrity and should be put out of business by Consumer Affairs.
