Jen is our Treatment Coordinator at Aten Orthodontics. She is a Craig High School graduate and then went on to study at the University of Rock County. Jen also graduated from the Professional Institute of Dental Assisting and has been in the dental field for over 12 years giving her the ability to be multifaceted in her job duties around the office.
Jen and her husband Seth both grew up in Janesville and are now raising their two sons here. They regularly enjoy all the parks and trails that this community has to offer. I am passionate about meeting new people and making those lasting connections. My wish is to inspire the people I meet within this practice to smile back at me confidently.

Dr. Kyle Aten, DMD, MSD completed his bachelor's degree in Biology at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida. He went on to attend dental school at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida, and graduated with honors in the top 5% of his class. He then spent an additional 2.5 years committing himself solely to the specialty of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the University of Colorado.
All orthodontists must be licensed to practice, but at this time only 1 in 3 orthodontists have continued on to become a board certified orthodontist. The American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) certification process signifies a unique achievement-a significant step beyond the two to three years of advanced education required for a dentist to become a specialist in orthodontics.
Upon your arrival at Aten Orthodontics, please check in with our receptionist. Dr. Kyle Aten will conduct a thorough clinical orthodontic examination and explain all aspects of treatment himself. The cost of treatment depends upon the severity of the patient's problem. Our treatment coordinator will discuss fees and payment options, during the initial exam, if treatment is required.
As a matter of convenience to patients, Dr. Aten also offers an automatic draft from checking accounts or credit cards. We will review all the fees associated with treatment and the financial options available during your complimentary orthodontic consultation. It is our goal to provide the highest quality of orthodontic treatment that is affordable to you and your family!
It's more important than ever to brush and floss regularly when you have braces, so the teeth and gums are healthy during orthodontic treatment. Patients who do not keep their teeth clean may require more frequent visits to the dentist for a professional cleaning. Adults who have a history of gum disease should also see a periodontist during orthodontic treatment.

My experience at Aten Orthdontics has been amazing. The team is really professional and always so friendly. Adult braces weren't an easy choice to make for myself and they were so helpful and made the process seemless. They used updated dental technology and their facility is so crisp and clean. I'm super happy with the results that I've seen in the past 5 months alone.

Highly recommend! The friendly, knowledgeable, professional staff helped me feel more comfortable and optimistic about choosing Invisalign. For that I am truly grateful. We had such a wonderful experience at Aten Orthodontics. Dr. Aten and his team are so welcoming and kind. Dr. Aten is very thorough throughout the whole process, explaining each step in detail and answering all of our questions. He even called a couple weeks after our appointment to check in! Awesome place. Employees are very welcoming and respectful. Not to bad of price for my boys to get all the work they need done. Explained everything in detail that needs to be done. I would recommend this place to anyone. The office and work area is so clean. They also let me go back during procedure which is awesome so I can see what's going on.
