Services
Lake Murray Child Development Center strives to be a leader in high quality, multi-cultural, family-oriented education. We understand that the early years of childhood development are the most critical for the success of every child. Our curriculum is designed to offer a balanced hands-approach based on academic readiness including the growth and development of the whole child.
Babies are very special at Lake Murray Child Development Center. We designed our infant room to create a warm and secure environment for infants. From the peaceful atmosphere to the rocking chairs where babies are held and fed their bottles. Families develop their infant's daily schedule and we maintain individual schedules to meet the needs of our infants and ensure consistency between home and daycare.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Value
My niece attended here for a month and has had multiple incidents occur and hasn’t been the same happy little girl since she started, the most recent incident occurred yesterday when she was bit in the face and no report made by the teacher! They don’t care about the innocent babies and I would never send my child here!

My niece has been attending this CDC for almost 4 weeks. After touring 8 or so CDCs LMCDC looked like the best option- Sadly we were wrong. In the 4 weeks she’s been there she constantly comes home with new bloody scratches, bruises, red marks and bites. Today I picked her up early for her mom because she was BIT on the FACE- like teeth marks left and bruises appearing. I asked for the incident report but her teacher hadn’t reported it yet- I literally met her at the door as she was coming back from lunch. I think an incident like this deserves to be reported before the teacher/co-teacher leaves

We had a tour of the facility to see if it were somewhere we wanted to put our 3 year old boy. We not very impressed overall. At first glance, there isn’t much as far as toys and such go and the playground was pretty minimal and looked very aged. When asked about curriculum, the response given was that they didn’t have one and that the director does their own thing and the teachers do their own thing. They said they used to have a curriculum but no longer. Meals are not provided at the daycare which isn’t a huge issue but is a downside. Children are expected to bring their own as well as

Lake Murray Child Development has been a wonderful addition to our family. The staff and programs offered in the summer and the school year have greatly helped our daughter learn and excel. Especially during this very different start to the school year, the teachers and other staff have been able to keep our daughter on track and keep up with her virtual learning days. We would highly recommend Lake a Murray Child Development to anyone for their childcare needs!

My daughter has attended LMCDC for 3 years now and it has been a wonderful experience. She has learned so much and loves going there each day. She’s currently in the 4K program and amazes me every day with what she has learned. The staff is friendly, understanding, caring and accessible. My daughter loves it there and would recommend to anyone.

As a first time mom, I have to admit, I was terrified to take my child to daycare and let others care for her. From the first day I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to help me feel comfortable. My daughter adjusted very quickly and grew to love her teachers after a few days. The staff does a great job communicating with me daily, providing me with updates on how my daughter did at school. I was pleasantly surprised the first time art came home that my child made. I was over-joyed and now everyday I look forward to her folder to see what creations she brings home. When I drop my daughter

LMCDC has been great over the last couple of years. We have taken our 2 children there! My son has been there since he was 6mo old and is now about to turn 3! They work very well with my step daughter that has had some behavioral problems and can be a challenge at times. I really like the director, she is always on top of everything! I would highly recommend this daycare.

Once my child reached preschool age his teacher has stayed consistent. The the turn over was high initially from infant to 2yr old room. However the replacements have been wonderful. And my child really loves all of his teachers and I do feel that they love and care about him. He is learning so much during this preschool phase. Overall we have been extremely pleased with the child care. I feel the price is fair especially for the area.

I came in on Thursday when to register my daughter, they had two options for registration, Plan A which you pay registration fee and last weeks tuition and plan B which you pay registration fee and pay last weeks tuition over the course of 4 weeks. I went ahead and choose plan A. I ended up not getting the job so I could not afford to have her in care. I called Monday 7:00 am (so my daughter was registered for two days) and told them I could not afford the care. I told them to keep the registration fee and reimburse me for the last weeks tuition, they told me no because in the paperwork it states
