These old roof shingles were removed by Harrison Contracting and replaced with a 25-year algae-resistant Atlas Weatherwood shingle. Harrison Contracting replaced the old shingles with a 25-year shingle for the cost of a 20-year shingle to give the customer more longevity and value for their money. Harrison Contracting used a torch-down/ Bitumen process with a torchdown material that matched the existing roof for this San Antonio roof replacement.
We removed windows in roof and front and installed trusses, decked, roofed and install new energy efficient windows. The previous walls received heavy water damage and were completely rebuilt and new energy efficient windows added. The french doors were installed in an arched opening and a wall was installed to create an office space in an open area.
Insulation combined with radiant barrier may cut your heating and air conditioning cost by up to 30%. Insulation alone does help, but does not keep an attic from heating up and therefore allows your A/C unit to still be overworked. Harrison Contracting applied HeatBloc Ultra to the underside of the roof to reduce heat penetration into the attic by up to 80%.
