As a trained classical pianist he said "The negative is comparable to the composer's score and the print to its performance." Moreover it is still this way today and even more so in this digital age.
When you make an actual print and it is up on a gallery or museum wall or even just in your own living room at home it can demand attention in a way not like any other. Services
Each scan or photograph includes 1 proof of the digital image at NO additional cost. More proofs for color matching or image correction can be requested by a client at $5 per 8x10. A full size proof of an image may also be requested at the full cost for 1 single print at selected size. The initial scan includes minor adjustments of color, contrast and density, and minor cleaning.
You will receive an email to confirm that the images you uploaded are suitable for printing, and a summary of your order. 2 Your order can ship directly to you or can be drop shipped to another person or location. 2) $19.95 anywhere in the US and Canada for prints in a box size larger than 16"x24"x2" up to 30"x40"x4" (maximum).
PRINTS ON PAPER have the look and feel of traditional artist papers like Arches or BFK Reeves. My preferred papers are made by Breathing Color, a well known and respected producer of high end papers for digital printing today. 1. Breathing Color Pura Velvet is a textured paper with a mild tooth. It is a fairly heavy paper, 310gsm, and produces extraordinary prints with rich full colors and deep blacks.
Canvas prints are Ready to Hang and framed on 3/4 inch or 1.5 inch deep high quality pine stretcher bars hand made for each order. The image is stretched around the 4 sides and stapled on the back. An image can be printed with a MIRROR WRAP, a WHITE or BLACK or SOLID COLOR edge. Choose which style you prefer and specify this in your order in the message box.
Prints can be sandwiched between two layers of clear acrylic and connected together with stainless steel standoffs so that the print floats away from the wall 3/4" to 1". A variety of materials for the image part of the print are possible including a print on clear acetate introducing a transparency wherein the image objects casts a shadow on the wall.
