Clarendon is proud to provide an inclusive, positive work environment with a strong emphasis on family, and is pleased to offer a generous benefits package. For 41 years we've helped families to access high quality, affordable childcare while helping to build successful careers for licensed Family Child care educators in Massachusetts.

The CACFP provides many benefits for providers and children including, nutrition training, free nutritious meals for children and financial reimbursement for provider's meal service costs. Clarendon is a staunch advocate for the continuation of Federal funding for the Food Program and works tirelessly with The Food Research and Action Center http://www.frac.org/.
Services
Clarendon Early Education Services, Inc. is a leading child care and nutrition agency in Massachusetts. Founded in 1978, Clarendon has had a profound impact on the health, wellness and education of thousands of children in the greater areas of Lowell, Lawrence, Springfield and Boston.

We support our licensed, professional educators to establish their home-based family child care businesses that enable parents to work and provide emotional and financial stability for their families. Our commitment to children and families is to provide quality enriched, safe, nurturing, culturally sensitive environments that offer children many meaningful hands-on learning experiences where they can explore their interests and strengths.
This type of early education and care is delivered in a provider's home. Children in a family child care home may range in age from infant through school age and programs may serve between a maximum of six or ten children (with an additional assistant). Family Child Care Plus (FCCP) which allows up to 8 children so long as at least two of the children are school aged;.
Good nutrition is critical to a child's physical health and cognitive development. All Clarendon providers participate in the food program and provide nutritious meals and snacks, which are in accordance with the USDA guidelines.

Team Nutrition is an initiative of the USDA Food and Nutrition Service to support the Child Nutrition Programs through training and technical assistance for foodservice, nutrition education for children and their caregivers, and school and community support for healthy eating and physical activity.
All of us at Clarendon are pleased to announce our new monthly curriculum. We have titled it LEARN (Learning Experiences and Resources Now!) to reflect not only children's learning in our programs, but also how much we learn from our children and families everyday. The guide is designed to include experiences for mixed ages from infancy to school age and we hope that you will find these ideas helpful and inspiring.
