Enjoyable, relaxed stay. This is a nice improvement in the area, close to convenience stores, banking, hardwares and housewares, and everything in between. Located on a quieter Lincolnway, Blvd. Travelers can be out of town, take in goods and services in commerce, or partake in one of many diverse leisurely activities within a few minutes walk or drive. Take a break at More Stay Inn, with one of their daily, or weekly//monthly(at reduced rates) spacious, yet private, single or double rooms.

I don't know why this only has 2 stars. The rooms could need updating yes but it does look like they are about to do renovations. The staff has been excellent. I broke my foot during my stay and they were very generous helping me with my kids and getting me moved from 2nd floor to 1st floor. Earlier before I broke my foot Jennifer I'm housekeeping was very nice and got us fresh towels since they had a snow storm I added an additional night. She brought the towels and other things in less than 10 minutes. I have nothing but good things to say about the staff. The rooms have fridge and microwave

I try to have an open mind, but this place is an open wound. Other than the kind staff, repugnance from the start. From the parking lot a gasoline reeking maintenance truck, surprise, in disrepair. A crack pipe in a shopping cart to a store nowhere in site. A sore-ridden trackmarked junkie inside the lobby around the corner. No carpet, and gray painted scraped cement floors. Should have left. Open the door and the room has a dissatisfying odor. In the room the sheets were noticeably dirty. Tore the sheets back and checked for bugs. Oddly no bugs. Took off my shoes and socks and tried to relax.

I was in Sterling, Illinois for the funeral of my mother-in -law and needed a place to spend the night, my husband and I had the misfortune of staying at this terrible "motel 6" currently/formerly known as Regency Inn and Conference Center. I travel frequently and have visited motels all over this fine country. I booked the reservation on Priceline, who then booked it on Booking.Com, when I arrived around 4:30 pm and checked in we witnessed a man being arrested for drugs, this happens so frequently here that there are notices posted to warn you that you will be arrested. The entire building

This Motel 6 has been disowned by the Motel 6 chain and now calls itself the Regency Inn and Conference Center. DO NOT STAY THERE. It was like a hotel in Somalia. I had to disinfect the tub with bars of soap and rubbing alcohol before showering and thoroughly checked the sheets for needles. There was no coffee maker, no air condition, and the carpet had weird stains... The hotel itself is a maze like something out of a horror movie with retrofitted outside walkways around what was once an open-air motel, and they're in horribly poor condition.
