The early years of growth are the most crucial in a child's life. We have designed our preschool to promote a loving atmosphere in which the children can develop cognitively, emotionally, socially and physically at their own pace. The discoveries they make give them positive self-esteem, which is a developmental milestone they will carry with them their entire lives.
We accept every child for who they are and recognize their unique abilities. We believe in early education and want to see each child grow and achieve their very best. From young toddlers (18+ months), Universal Pre-Kindergarten (4/5 year olds) and elementary after school programs, our classrooms are equipped for age appropriate development and learning.

Services
Clarence Center Preschool, Inc., which is located in the suburbs of Buffalo, New York, is our family owned and operated childcare. The building at 5990 Goodrich Road has been in the Van Kuren family for over 53 years! We have 5 children of our own and 10 grandchildren, who we love very much and have raised around our center.
We have a planned curriculum for both programs, but they are different. Our childcare center houses the after school program for Kindergarten through 3rd Grade, where they enjoy being together as a group. Homework help and fun activities are a part of their day at the center.
The preschool curriculum is for 18 months through kindergarten readiness (ages 4/5) that assists children in developing a positive outlook on learning and being a part of an organized group of peers.This helps them to become more curious about their world and comfortable in trying new things. Working together and successfully handling new tests are an integral part of their busy day.

Our school serves children from ages 18 months - 5 years old, as well as our after school program for students at Clarence Center Elementary and Ledgeview Elementary. We have four classrooms that are specifically equipped for age appropriate development and an overall inviting environment to allow each child to develop and meet new challenges with great excitement and confidence.
Make an appointment to visit CC Preschool for a personal tour of our facility and meet our team of teachers. Complete and submit all necessary paperwork that is provided in your Parent Policy Packet. School Year Registration Fee (September-June): $50.00 payable at the time you submit your Registration Application.

Clarence Center Preschool is like a home away from home for the children that attend. 3 of my children have attended CC and a fourth will be starting this fall. There is no other preschool I would rather send my children. Not only do they prepare them for elementary school academically but they build such meaningful connections with the children that they look forward to going back to visit long after they’re gone. The amount of time, effort and creativity put into the lessons and events at CC is unmatched and creates a lifetime of happy memories for the children! Thank you for all that you do

We moved to Clarence last year and Clarence Center Preschool was very willing to work with our crazy schedules! My sons love the preschool. My 5 year old was in Pre-K 3 last year and UPK this year. The rate at which he is leaning is incredible! My 8 year old goes to the after school program. Miss Jean and her staff are extremely helpful, accessible and FUN. We LOVE it here!

My son has attended Clarence Centre since he turned three last year. From the day my husband and I toured the preschool we were super excited. The teachers are very nice and the owners made us feel very welcome. We visited the school with my son twice before we sent him for his first day and he loved it. His first actual day the staff made him feel so welcome and made sure he felt apart of the class. Miss Julie and Miss Natalie do a wonderful with our son. He comes home from school singing and loves to tell us about his day and about all of his friends. We love Clarence Centre and are so happy
